Lovely food and great service would recommend the ribeye it was delicious

We went in January and it was very quiet. Very good service from an experienced waiter. My rib eye steak was superb and great value at 20 euros. Cod was well cooked. Just bear in mind that there are many extras to pay for. Butter - 1 euro extra per sachet. Mayonnaise sauce - 1 euro extra.

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. There was no one there - possibly due to the time of year, so we were given the choice to eat in the empty restaurant or opposite the bar, we chose the bar. A very sterile environment with no atmosphere. We ordered the special burger, chicken burger and a panini, plus fries. The burger was a cheap frozen option with ‘no flavour’ and the chicken didn’t even taste like chicken! More like a chicken stuffing frozen option. The panini was fine, but came with no garnish. Fries were extra. We had a glass of wine, a milkshake and a coke. So even with the Fork discount the meal cost us 50 euros (with tip). Inferior food and zero atmosphere for the money. Service was friendly but slow. We were very disappointed.

Would recommend this place everything about it was 5star the food was well presented and tasted fabulous th squid was amazing cooked to perfection an the ribeye steak melted in ya mouth , an the puddings were homemade would recommend the chocolate brownie full of fruit n flavour

Felt a little strange walking into a hotel for a restaurant but so glad we seen this on ‘The Fork’ and booked. Service was excellent, attentive but not ‘in your face’! Food was spectacular and the place itself was squeaky clean and left us thinking it was brand new.

Everything about this meal and setting was excellent. The food was very expertly cooked , especially the sweet potato chips, they were crispy and not greasy at all. The staff were excellent too.

from the pictures we were expecting a beach bar but it turned out to be a 4* hotel restaurant! Very nice, tasty food, well presented with attentive service.

Lovely lunch at the Wyndham Alvor. Very quiet but lovely food, excellent service, by lovely staff. At the moment there is an offer on of 30% off the Ala carte menu. It’s a very good offer. This is if you book on The Fork. Try it I don’t think you will be disappointed. We had Pork in sauce, chicken with honey and mustard sauce, mixed omelette and salad with fries. Fish burger with salad and french fries. Total bill for four e64, with drinks. Very good value I’m going to try the Salmon next visit.

The chicken burger was awful...more like mechanically-reclaimed meat. No taste of chicken and no identifiable meat!

We went to the Wyndham on a recommendation from friends. We only marked the ambiance down because the restaurant was empty apart from one table. Otherwise the restaurant was clean, newly decorated and modern The food was superbly presented and served. I would definitely go again. Maybe some low musc would help when the restaurant was quiet Staff were lovely, professional and efficient. Our meal was Chicken Skewers with peanut satay sauce, very goid portion. I had Hiney and Musrard Chicken My husband had Poek medallions The veg and potatoes were lovely and all of the presentation was lovely I would recommend it and I would go again

An absolute pleasure eating here today. We were a party of 6 who had 2 different starters and 4 different main courses . The octopus not only was presented well but was cooked and tasted wonderful. Chicken in a honey and mustard sauce and the beef medallions both were delicious. Salted cod was the only dish that didn’t rate as highly as the others. Definitely recommend plus we will go again.

I really enjoyed my lunch there. I had Chicken Satay with peanut butter which was really good for a starter, and a veggie lasagne which was large enough I took some home for my dinner.

We booked for 8pm and were the only people in the restaurant. There was a complete lack of atmosphere as a result. It should be made clear that this is the Wyndham Hotel restaurant. It is not on Google maps and it was hard to find.

We had greater expectations further to The Fork rating 9.5, unfortunately we did not find both the place and the quality of food at that level:. It was very difficult to find the location, inside the music of the bar was mixing with the different music of the restaurant causing an annoying mixing of sound, the menu was nothing different from a snack bar international menu with addition of a few fish and meat dishes. The 2 starters - fried squid onions and fried octopus - were clearly frozen standard ones, full of fried oil, also the quality of main fish courses was poor even if some effort was done in their presentation .No comment as regrads the apple crunch dessert. Sorry, everything has been disappointing. The Fork promotion rebate was applied to the bill without need to ask for that.

My husband and I went for dinner and enjoyed very much! Food was delicious: I had herb-encrusted cod and he had salmon. Service was perfect. It's a beautiful venue, highly recommend for all day food and drink. We will definitely go back, maybe for the live music on Thursday nights!
