Derive was good and the food was well prepared and presented……. this restaurant has a reputation for being the most expensive in the area……. we paid for starters and main plus a pre dinner drink and a couple of glasses of wine 107 euros……. we would have paid more at our local pizzeria at home…..so not wishing to turn this excellent restaurant into a free for all, we highly recommend it for quality/ price……. and please remember we are very difficult to please most of the time!!!!!

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday with the wonderful chef and staff at Ribas Marisqueira. The birthday girl had a delicious lobster meal they pick with her. In addition to the lobster, we had lamb chops and tiger prawns. Everything was cooked to perfection. We ended the meal with a yummy chocolate dessert. Thank you for a special night.

We had a little bit of an issue with our reservations but the staff was able to sorted things out. The large fish dish was excellent. If you prefer meat they also have a great angus beef and other options. The location is in the center of Mafra and parking can be challenging. Uber is probably the best options.

So predictably excellent, we love the food, the service and the overall experience. Tonight the restaurant was not busy. The service speed could be less rushed to enable diners to savor each dish and their company

The food here is fantastic, everything is fresh and so flavorful. Portions are generous, so definitely come hungry and ready to eat! If I find myself in Ericeira again, I will definitely come back here for a meal.

The food was good but the ambience was quite cold, especially when we arrived at 7.15 pm (probably too soon). The waiters weren’t very welcoming, it could be the language barrier but we didn’t have this elsewhere. Overall, we had a good meal but wouldn’t necessarily recommend. There are places that have a better quality of service and food / price ratio.

Excellent service: 5-star restaurant. Good food, I recommend the grouper rice, it was delicious. The portion for 2 is very generous.

I'm from Atlantic Canada and I could eat sea food everyday. We had the seafood plater with lobster and in my opinion that was the best I've ever had. Our waiter was so amazing and knowledgeable of the wine and cuisine. At the end of our meal we asked for some gingina, he said that they were out, the waiter left the restaurant and came back with some for us. He went above and beyond. Five stars!!!

Enjoyed the atmosphere and service. The food did not quite live up to expectations.

Delicious, fresh seafood. The best risotto with giant prawns I have ever had, still dreaming about it! We also had grilled prawns cooked in oil, garlic and chilli. The bread they served at the beginning was fluffy, buttery and so delicious - perfect for dipping into the sauce. Our waitress was so lovely and couldn’t have been friendlier. Really hope to go back again!

Amazing seafood with great attention to detail. We brought our two boys and they loved the tank and getting to see a lobster. Server was very friendly and knowledgeable of local wines. Definitely recommended for a fresh seafood experience.

We ate percebes and grilled octopus. It was the best octopus i ever ate, perfectly prepared and served with fresh vegetables, all very pure and with respect for the high quality for the ingredients. We ended with delecious desert of apple, cream and salted caramel. We had a Douro of excellent quality to top it. I will be back! Friendly service
