10/10Our best meal in Florence! The gnocchi with sausage, tomato, and smoked burrata was surprisingly light with just the right amount of spice. The filet of pork with Vinsanto sauce was tender and had the perfect savory sweet balance. Service was friendly and helpful and the price was incredibly reasonable. It is a small restaurant so definitely make reservations. We will be back!

10/10Excellent small restaurant. We had beef cooked in a traditional Tuscan recipe with mashed potatoes — a huge portion and absolutely delicious. We also tried grilled beef with melted blue cheese, which was excellent. The appetizers were very good and the wine list was also great. Our hotel recommended it to us and it truly lived up to the recommendation. It’s away from the typical tourist traps. Since the evening weather was lovely, we asked if we could sit in the back courtyard, and they immediately accommodated us even though it wasn’t officially open. A really wonderful dining experience.

10/10We got a very warm welcome at this small restaurant in a quiet side street. The menu offered an excellent choice of dishes, not just the “tourist” standards. We enjoyed our gnudi and steak, washed down with a glass or two of excellent local wine. The table next to us had the 5 course sharing menu, which looked incredible value at €28. We’re planning to go back tonight - need I say more?

Food was very tasty and so affordable. Service also top-notch. The grilled prawns (appetitiser) was excellent and the braised beef cheek incredibly tender.

10/10Excellent from start to finish. Food was great, as was the service. Price was more than reasonable--would recommend!! We were given a complimentary order of the leek suffle and it was Top 3 best things I had in my 2 week italian getaway.

+1We chose Ribeo as our first meal in Florence and it was so wonderful we decided to have our last meal there as well. Martina, our server, was so genuinely hospitable she made us feel so welcome. Her wine and food recommendations were spot on. Her kindness meant so much to us. Massimo, the chef, made us beautiful, and delicious plates of food. His passion for cooking shines through in his attention to detail. My mother and I had some of the best food of our entire stay in Ribeo.

Food and wine were incredible, the best meal I’ve had on multiple trips to Florence. Our waitress had excellent suggestions, which made an already fantastic experience that much better. Highly recommended.

8/10The evening started very well. The waitress was very attentive. But there became an issue with timing. We were outside in a lovely courtyard. For what seemed a substantial period, no table had any food. I am unsure what was happening but the food took a long long time to arrive. There was an avoidance of communication when tables were clearly expecting food and nothing was arriving. This then put us off ordering a dessert. It’s a shame because I think it could have been a much better experience.
