Amazing food. Great attention to detail from the chef and staff. Everything was prepared in front of us while we sat at the serving bar. One of our top dining experiences.

+1the food was so interesting and delicious! you could tell the chef took much pride in the dishes he created. the sommelier was extremely knowledgable and passionate about the wines he chose for the pairing. overall the service was delightful and the food was fantastic!

A warm welcome, wonderful New Year’s eve dinner, great wine pairing and a very relaxed vibe, you just don’t want to leave. Chef Bernd overlooks this all and chats with the guests in 4 languages. Unforgettable Nochevieja experience!

No bottled water, have “osmosis” machine but water tasted like tap. No sommelier - couldn’t find a dry white wine that was crisp and refreshing (happened to another couple). The dirty rice was squid based and was just fishy smelling and tasting. It was also way too liquidy. Didn’t eat it. Didn’t get my first course for an hour. The courses with fish stink up the restaurant and does not make for a pleasant environment. Took forever for second course. So long. Don’t understand the issue? My first knife didn’t cut through the steak Steak is tough and fatty/chewy. Hard to eat. There was a dessert called spaghetti and we asked the chef if it was spaghetti and he said yes …. It was ice cream with tomato sauce and basil and it was inedible. Not pasta. Then they tried to fully charge me for food I DIDN’T eat. Bad experience all around, do not recommend.

We value all our customers' feedback and appreciate the opportunity to clarify some of the points you raised. We understand your frustration regarding the waiting time and apologize if the service was not as prompt as usual. However, the starter you selected, the rice dish, inherently requires a certain preparation time. We regret that the dish did not appeal to your personal taste. It has been described by many critics as one of the best rice dishes in Spain, which is a source of great pride for us. For its preparation, we use fresh squid ink from cuttlefish that we source here on the Mediterranean coast in a state of incredible freshness, practically straight from the boats. ...

Friendly staff, very good service, fun dining experience that took 3 hours. Food was all good with familiar taste except for the bloody mary which I found very unique and tasty. The coctails we ordered were also very good

Excellent food, great service! I would highly recommend it! My only comments would be: 1. needing to re-confirm twice while also having guaranteed with a credit card is overkill. 2. Water was 7 euro and was just poured into our glasses from a tiny carafe (we each had about 1/2 glass). The wine and vermut was amazing and a much better value than the water!

The Riff is absolutely the best! The food is not only tasty but also unique, making every dish a delightful surprise. The service is impeccable, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The 50% discount via The Fork app was a great gift, allowing us to enjoy this incredible dinner for two just 110 euros. It was the best dinner I could dream of. Highly recommended!

+9Bernd and his team are very professional and friendly. Their service is impeccable - my wine glass and my water were never empty. We were given a choice to “personalised” our dishes by ordering ½ potions for 3 people and have our own tasting menu. every single one of the dishes were expertly presented and described by the team members. Special mention to the sommelier, who made my dream came true! It’s impossible to find a bottle of White Rioja, and the bottle we had made me smile from the bottle of my heart (or as I said, it touched my soul). One of the best experience I have ever had in a restaurant.

Restaurant is small in area and packed with tables. To make us sit they had to push and pull our table and rearrange. Very crowded and noisy. I was even not able to hear my wife at our table. And there is a rush at the restaurant. Waiters and service people running this way and that way which made us feel like we were in Mc Donalds. And food was below our expectations. And ı also want to tell this. The adress of the restaurant had changed. We did not know this. There was no notice about it before hand. And we had to walk quite a way to find the restaurant as we went to their adress that is in the application of Fork. The only thing satisfied us was the sommelier. He was very helpful and he really did his job well. Overall, we will not make it to Riff again. Sissappointment for us at our anniversary dinner.

Riff was fabulous. It definitely lived up to its Michelin star. Each course was unique and fully explained by the server. Everything was well-timed. The weekday lunch menu and wine pairing were great value. Food, drink and service were really wonderful. We were very impressed.

The dishes were more delicious and extraordinary, the service attentive and friendly. We will be happy to come back.

The food was fine ,, the derives was fast however lacked explanations as to the experience ie what to expect next etc , there was no introduction of the deserts signalling the end of the main courses ,, The property had no natural light and detracted drastically from the ambience

This restaurant exceeded my expectations. For sure one of the best restaurants in Valencia but as I am a Gourmet traveller I may confirm this applies even compared to other famous Chefs. I took the 5 courses Lonja menue but as you are greeted with several amuse bouche it ends up with many more. I can't describe all dishes otherwise this review ends up being a book but want to point out my favourites. The oyster, prepared in Bernd Knöllers special way and the rice cooked with algues, served with white tuna filet and plankton. It might sound strange these ingredients but it is a mouthwatering taste on your palate. The service is fast, the atmosfere relaxed. Not only me liked the background music which isn't the normal hotel music blabla but real songs by the original interprete. Bernd Knöller himself came out to the tables several times to talk to the guests and explain the dish served. It is highly recommended if you want to a enjoy a wonderful, excellent lunch or dinner. I dined alone and felt very much cared of.

My second time at Riff. I like how present the Chef is - he comes out to serve some dishes, explains them. In comparison to other Michelin star restaurants, he is much more freestyle I really imaging him going to the market in the morning to see what they have, then create something ad-hoc for that day. I like that, it's a much less formal experience and more authentic. The food quality is good, the presentation too. The service is excellent. This is the same crew that I saw two years ago, it's a great team and they know what do to and do it quickly and efficiently. Great to see in a time when many other "Stars" struggle to find good people for service. This crew may seem kind of cold at first, but when you see them work together, it's fun to watch them.

+1This was a wonderful restaurant experience. From the first bites and drinks to the final dessert, all was completed with finesse and talent. The chef and his team are amazing. The food was very creative and delicious. This was an unbelievably lovely dining experience and I will be back in the future, if possible.

Lovely food and service at this classy restaurant. Small and intimate restaurant if a little clinical in terms of ambience - lighting bright, minimalist decoration, no external windows. The food is extraordinarily. A foodies paradise. Menu a bit tricky to interpret but the chef comes to the table to answer questions and take the order. Eating here is a real experience. Recommended.

Fantastic food with some interesting surprises and unexpected taste experiences. Mostly fish and seafood based modern dishes. The staff was fantastic, more than friendly and made us feeling very welcomed.

Outstanding. I have been coming to Riff on special occasions for several years. The quality of these experiences is never less than superb. A creative menu, tranquil ambience and visits from the Chef himself make dining at Riff a joy. Highly recommended.
