We were recommended this restaurant by a local. Unfortunately, it wasn’t what we’d hoped for. The food was mediocre at best. Same as others have said in that bread and a starter of potato croquettes were given without request and then charged at €8.50. Wine was not good though recommended by the waiter. TVs were on the whole time at both ends of the restaurant. Really just a bit grim with no atmosphere and not terribly interested waiters. I felt sad rather than cross as I think it might have been good once.

A rustic locals restaurant with friendly service and ambience. Food is simple but good and wholesome.

The food and service were not that great and the fact of serving starters at the table without our consent and also charging them on our bill without having consumed them is the main reason for our disappointment

We went 10 years ago and returned this year. Food fabulous on both occasions. Unfortunately, the proprietors seemingly weren’t aware of our table booking, so we ended up squeezed into a tiny table at the rear next to their serving hatch. Apart from the lack of space the restaurant was great.

CASH ONLY!!! The food was pretty good and the service was quick, but they do not take card, even though the listing on Apple Maps says “Contactless payment.” The servers should’ve said something about their machine being broken before we tried to pay with card. It would’ve been a nice experience, but this was unprofessional and could’ve been avoided.

Atmospheric restaurant appeared to be mainly locals however we personally found the food to be disappointing fish very oily and full of bones.
