9.5/10Risotteria Melotti Firenze is 100% gluten free. One of our group of diners suffers from Coeliac Disease and it was such an easy and relaxing experience to enjoy a meal at a restaurant knowing that everything on the menu was gluten free. Reading the history of this family of rice growers from Vernona added to the connection with the concept of 'paddock to plate' by a family with a passion for the food prepared and served. Gluten free does not mean 'lacking in flavour' and this restaurant delivered well presented and flavoursome meals. Service was very good and the service staff communicated well with our group of English speakers from Australia. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.

10/10We went for a sunday dinner. The food: arancini and risottoes: one with pistacchio, other with safrano, were really delicious and we choose a nice tasty red wine as well. The atmosphere is also good and the service as well. We will turn back. Thank you!

Even though the place was full and there were only 2 waiters, the service was impeccable, fast and effective. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is cosy. I really recommend this place

The app said if I booked on the apps it can provide up to 30% discount, but at the end we doesn’t have discount , the staff said it is because we arrived early than the booking time, so everyone remember on time, otherwise you would not received discount~ wired restaurant.

6.5/10The service was great but the music was way too loud, I did not like the fact that there was a TV in the middle of the restaurant. Also the risotto was ok but way way too salty and for the price I did not think it was worth it.

9/10The risotto we had was amazing: taste, texture and presentation were all perfect. The ambience of the restaurant is simple and less exclusive than the food. The waiters that took care of us were attentive and quick. One of them was so polite and polished, that it took away the human connection from the conversation. It felt quite robotic for a country like Italy.

6.5/10the service deserves better, we are very disappointed and shocked! We asked for a piece of lemon with water, I have never been so brazenly answered by a waitress in my life... "I will not cut a piece of lemon for a person, we do not ask such things." For the first time in my life I encountered such greed, it was a shock of course, if she was sorry to just cut a lemon she could have sold it! I asked for olive oil for bread, but they did not even bring a plate for bread and butter, I splattered the entire table with this oil, since it was completely inconvenient to pour it! All we got from this service I think is a disgrace for the restaurant!!!! I do not recommend this place, since we did not even enjoy the food after such treatment, we wanted to get up and leave immediately!
