10/10Really excellent, I di though suggest you try the 39eu menu of 7 dishes with 2 glasses of wine! That service though, was very long, nearly 3 hours. Our a la carte menu, with 3 courses, and one bottle of wine, was 190eu, had to take some food home!

9/10This is the restaurant of the Hotel. The interior is nice and clean but a bit old-fashioned. The major problem is that we could not sit outside because the tables outside were right along a road with heavy traffic. Busses etc. This is not convenient. However: The food was EXCEPTIONAL!!! We loved it and would come back any time!

9.5/10This restaurant situated in the Hotel Barchetta Excelsior was a great find. The food was high quality and very tasty. This was matched by the excellent service provided by the staff. Our meal was unhurried and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience.

8/10Nice place, well presented food. But…good carpaccio ruined by very acidic red onion. If it was to complement, it did opposite, and «killed» meat flavour. The other meat was tender and well tasting. Could have wished for some more sauce…but grilled vegetables were good also. All in all, would recommend.

10/10Fabulous Lake Como tasting menu with the perch risotto alla Comasca. Not cheap, but worth the upper mid-range price. Staff very pleasant and professional.

10/10Enjoyed the delicious octopus appetizer and the asparagus dish was excellent. My husband ordered the spaghetti with clams (vongole). It was described on the menu as spaghetti with giant clams but came with these tiny Manila clams so it was kinda misleading, so they need to correct the description. Other than that, My husband enjoyed it and was fully satisfied with it. the ravioli filled with prawns was a great choice. Food Presentation and portions were just perfect as well as the wait staff. To top it off, got a 20% discount by reservation thru the Fork. Thank you!

4.5/10The restaurant is located in the lobby of the hotel, but with a good view. The menu is small and nothing stands out. The food itself is simple 5/10. Prices are high for such an establishment. I will not recommend.

10/10Food is excellent but be warned that the portions are NOT small, so order accordingly. The outstanding dishes were the risotto and the veal, but everything was very, very good!

5/10First of all I AM FROM COMO DOWNTOWN (25 meters by the restaurant I have my own house) Tricky restaurant. The menu shows you a price… once you’ll get the bill the price become almost double. To clarify: we ordered ONE starter, Octopus salad and asked for a little bit more portion. Than 2 Risotto Al Persico (typical dish of Como) and a normal green salad. A bottle of wine that I pay out of the bill as 26 euro Lugana, 2 bottles a water than 2 coffee and they asked (so intentionally it means that is offered by the owner otherwise you’ll not ask anything until we ordering) for limoncello. The surprise came at the cashier. We pay for TWO portion of octopus, and 3 x 7 euro limoncello supposed offered by the manager. So I’ll put the receipt on line and you can see for yourself. Pay attention to what they “offering” you. And never ask for a little more portion. They will let you pay double. Unbelievable experience. Vote? Quality… 5/10 service idem and tricky stuffs 10/10. I use the fork and going to restaurants 6 times per week… so… come onnnn

Dear Daniele, thank you for your review. Sorry to hear about your disappointment, however all our items on the menù are correctly priced. We only charge our guests for the food and drink they consume. With regards to the coffee order and liqueurs, it is custom for our staff to sell drinks. 8/10Good food and location. I had a really bad experience on the payment as i had not received the thefork discount i expected. The manager explained that it wasn’t in his system. He knew the discount was offered to the thefork reservations and still didn’t budge, showing lack of empathy and customer orientation. A overall good meal ruined by poor management

9.5/10Very close to the lake shore, this restaurant was a beautiful experience. The shrimp starter was very good and fresh, the main courses were delightfull and the deserts were top notch. Not only the location is great, but also the atmosphere of the restaurant is very pleasant. Would like to highlight fantstic sympathy and kindness of both of the waiters - I could not identify the names - that made the dinner a delightfull experience. Thank you lady and sir for that.
