Booked on thefork.com for a 7:30pm reservation with a 20% discount on food. Unfortunately this was not honoured at the restaurant. The food was good, but the staff was fairly aggressive in their sales tactics. We were the only diners at the time.

Very good first courses (mussels and borlotti beans and fennel salad) but pastas were not to our liking and we told our waiter so. He made no offer to give us an alternative.

Tourist trap. Slow very non engaged and tired service. Food not homemade, Ravioli... and didnt even cheer it up just tomato with no salt or pepper. . 25 eur for recommendation of the day. Taste bad. So this is a warning, dont go here, we are sorry we did.

Gentile Cliente, se si permette di valutare la nostra cucina ritenendo il prezzo molto alto, dopo che ha fruito del 50% di sconto sulle pietanze (pagando il piatto di ravioli euro 6,50,) è tutto un dire???…. . Puntualizza che i ravioli non erano fatti in casa dal condimento (senza pepe o pomodoro) . Non sapevamo di avere un cliente gourmet al nostro ristorante!!! La verità è che non ha compreso il prezzo del piatto del giorno, euro 25,00 ( da scontare sempre al 50%), pasta con gamberi rossi di Mazzara del Vallo, cacio, pepe e lime.. Non capiamo se la ingiustificata severità del Suo giudizio sia legato alla pretesa di mangiare gratis ??? ….

We had a late lunch after seeing The Vatican. Picked this place due to high rating on The Fork. The food was excellent. I had a seafood pasta that was possibly one of the best I have ever had. My wife had a smaller bowl that was perfect for her. The service was very attentive but we were one of 4 tables as we were seated at 3 PM. The owner was very attentive. We had an upscale bottle of wine. Be attentive to what YOU want and don’t follow the owner’s recommendation as the cost may be quite high. But we did get complimentary Limoncello and dessert likely due to our wine purchase. Overall a top level restaurant with high quality food, wine, and service.
