+6The service was impeccable, the dishes were inspired, and the ambience refined. So why make deductions? There were two significant faux pas. The first: one of the pasta dishes was massively oversalted. The salt was in the pasta itself, as neither the sauce nor the garnishes were oversalted, so there had clearly been a mistake in the kitchen. My wife and I both pushed the dish away after one bite, and explained to the server what the issue was. A small discount was applied to our bill (without our asking), but there was no apology, which rankled; it was as if our taste buds were at fault (and we don't mind salt). The second issue is that a choice of 3 sparkling wines was offered at the beginning of the meal, along with several complimentary appetizers. We were surprised to discover that €18 each was added to the bill for the wine; there was no hint that this offering was extra on top of the wine pairing. No issues of this kind should ever occur at a Michelin star restaurant.

5.5/10Disappointing Tasting Menu Experience in Catania I recently visited Ristorante Coria in Catania with genuinely high hopes, but unfortunately, the experience, centered around the tasting menu with wine pairings, failed to meet expectations. The meal started promisingly. Several of the initial courses were excellent, showcasing strong flavors and creativity. The service was attentive during these early stages, particularly with the wine pairings chosen for the appetizers, which were spot-on and well-explained. However, the quality took a notable dip with the main courses. They simply did not maintain the standard set by the preceding dishes. Compounding this, the wine selected for the main course was not good. Regrettably, I was unable to provide feedback on this, as the staff did not return to the table while I was actively eating the course. The experience ended on another low note: no dessert wine was offered

From the entrance it felt like you are in a very special place. The service was astonishing! Everyone was so friendly and kind! The food was amazing. The music was amazing. Every detail was amazing! Definitely recommend!
