6/10Very very casual restaurant, which is fine but not what we necessarily accepted. Outside lightening and nice entrance didn’t match the decor of the restaurant at all. Food was just ok. Staff was very nice and helpful though.

10/10Amazing ambiance, very family friendly atmosphere with welcoming warm people. You walk under a lit citrus canopy to the large outdoor dining area. There was live music and large local groups enjoying a family dinner. The wine selection was amazing, the pizza, appetizers, and mains were phenomenal. We had the sliced beef and other variations which were delicious. I would become a regular at this place as the prices were the most affordable we have had since being in Sorrento. Not to mention they have a shuttle service to pick you up and drive you home at no cost. If you visit Sorrento you must go to Ristorante da Filippo!

10/10This was probably the best restaurant experience we had on our trip. The atmosphere was amazing. It was like an oasis with lots of greenery and beautiful lighting. The food was superb and the staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. Although Ristorante da Filippo is out of the centre part of town, it is a hidden gem and well worth visiting.

Lovely food, super fast and friendly service. Free shuttle service to the restaurant (contact beforehand via WA) was a great help given the restaurant is located up the hill. Also given a free shuttle back again afterwards. Made to feel very welcome. Also the best tiramisu I’ve ever had.

My family and I had the best night at Ristorante da Fuppo. Every was perfect! The most delicious food, excellent service and wonderful , relaxing atmosphere! We can’t wait to come back!!

10/10The setting was beautiful, the service was great, there was a pianist playing which made the whole experience wonderful. The food was great and excellent value. Would highly recommend a visit to this lovely restaurant.

The food quality is very low. We got the special if the day which was octopus with pasta and T bone steak. The octopus was fishy and the pasta was oily. The steak was raw even though we asked for medium. The taste was bland. The bread basket was very stale. The ambiance is bad inside, they definitely need major renovation. Overall I won't go back there again.

6/10There are kids everywhere so it’s a little bit noisy. Food was OK. The highlight was the capresse salad. The rest was somehow poor in taste, which was surprising.

4.5/10We were delighted with the ambience when we arrived . The parking attendant was a lovely gracious man . We thought we were in for a real treat. Once inside we realised it was a very family type oriented restaurant.. which is fine . We ordered the food .. starters were bland just ok . Main meals were terrible . So was the desert . Service was good no problem but honestly the food presented was the sort you go through the motions of eating because you are hungry .

7/10The food was decent in a bright modern interior. Service was not the best but neither is my Italian. Friendly but inconsistent in returning to table especially as night got busier. We were seated by a large open window which became cooler and depending on wind direction a manure smell.

5.5/10The service was good, but my dish was disappointing; I was hoping for pasta with seafood but I only got some clams and a few mussels. The dish was also very salty. The dessert was good though and there was a shuttle service which we appreciated a lot since the road is very steep and hard for pedestrians.

10/10The restaurant sent a shuttle bus to pick us up from the hotel during a rainstorm. Plus o e. The greeting was friendly and we were seated immediately. Plus two. The head waiter, owner’s daughter were there to give suggestions on wine and food choices which were all excellent. Plus three. The food was prepared to perfection. Plus 4 to 20. It was such a great experience we are arranging to go back. If you got to Sorrento and want a restaurant where the locals eat, this is the place!

8/10A notch above much of what you find in Sorrento, which is average fare compared to most of Italy. Unfortunately, the town caters to tourists; da Filippo gave us a much better dining experience.

10/10This place was awesome! Food was very reasonably priced and even sitting outside it was comfortable! They also have a few very friendly Golden Retrievers greeting you. Will be back there tonite for our last night in Sorrento.

9.5/10Restaurant provided shuttle. The service was very attentive. The cuisine was well prepared and diversified from appetizers to dolce. Lemoncello shots provided at the end of the meal topped off a very enjoyable evening.
