The T-bone steak is a must-try signature dish in Florence. We went for the Chianina T-bone, listed on the menu as about 1.3 kg. The owner weighed it and said it was actually 1.4 kg, but after confirming with him that two of us could handle it, we gave it the go-ahead. A friendly tip: It'd be better if they weighed it in front of customers for full transparency and to avoid any mix-ups. If you have a smaller appetite, definitely let the owner know upfront. We ordered it medium-rare—the meat was tender and juicy, with a perfect balance of fat and lean that made it incredibly tasty. The portion was massive and left us totally satisfied. The pappardelle with wild boar sauce was just okay—nothing standout, and the serving size was on the smaller side. It was lunchtime with only about five tables occupied. I don’t know what’s supposed to be delicious here. It was below my expectations — just not good. The meat was tough, and the atmosphere wasn’t great either. I came here because I didn’t want to go somewhere famous, but I didn’t feel anything special. I think I should’ve just gone to one of those well-known places that are at least decent.

5.5/10We ordered pasta and steak. The pasta was finished, so the plate was empty, but there was still quite a bit of steak left. A staff member came over and pointed at the empty pasta plate, asking “Finish?” I thought they were only referring to that plate, but they took away everything — the steak, my personal plate, all of it. I was still eating the steak! When I told them I wasn’t done, the staff member got annoyed and said they cleared it because I had answered “yes” to “finish?”. There was no apology at all. I understand there can be communication misunderstandings, but if a mistake is made, an apology should follow. The whole experience left a very bad impression, and it completely ruined my opinion of this restaurant.

7.5/10I went there after seeing reviews saying it was friendly, but it wasn't as friendly as I expected. The waiter took my order incorrectly. My steak wasn't served on a hot plate, which was disappointing.

The service at this steakhouse was really mediocre, and I honestly don’t understand how it has such a high rating. First of all, there were only two tables upstairs—ours and another table of white customers. After serving the steaks, the staff only went over to ask that other table “Is everything ok? How’s the food?” They didn’t check on us at all. When we were paying the bill, they finally asked for feedback. I mentioned that the surface of my steak was slightly over-burnt, and their immediate response was: why didn’t I say something earlier? (Well, the upstairs area was extremely dark, so you could barely see anything. On top of that, servers almost never came upstairs, so if I wanted to tell them, I would have had to go all the way downstairs to find someone.) After that, they even pulled out a photo to explain that in Florence, steaks are supposed to be cooked like this—basically suggesting that I didn’t understand what a “real” Florentine steak is. 9/10Setting and physical structure are artistic, historical and charming. Service was great to start out but fell off as the meal progressed. Food was delicious and prepared to order. Solid wine list, but recommendations curious in that they tried to steer us away from local styles and wines. Terrific desserts.

8/10Food was between good and very good. Prices were good. Service was amazing we sat upstairs. The waiters shirt was literally drenched, it was too warm up top to enjoy the meal. They have a fan and portable unit that tries to keep the temperature down, it doesn’t. Downstairs wasn’t much cooler. If it’s the least bit warm outside I would find somewhere else.

8/10Most important, the food was very good. Strongly based on meat, but there were a few other options, too. I had delicious duck breast. The restaurant was very busy. Although we had booked in advance, we were seated in a corner next to the meat refrigerator, which put out a bit of heat. There were plenty of fans in the room, but it would have been better to have a little distance. The service was pleasant and professional. The prices are slightly on the high side.

The service is excellent, the environment is cozy and most importantly the food is extremely good! The staff recommended the best choice of steak to us, and then a delicious appetiser and he even tailor made some nice cocktail for us. Fantastic service. My husband wanted to learn about wines in different regions since this was our first trip to Italy (and Europe). The sommelier at this location was very kind and generous with us and it created for a very unique and special dinner. The server also gave us a nice touch prior to leaving. The T-bone steak was delicious.

We ordered their T-bone steak and wild boar pasta. Both were delicious, especially the pasta — cooked to perfection with just the right balance of chewiness and softness, and the wild boar sauce was full of flavor. Highly recommended.

We had a family dinner here. We had 2 different types of T bone steak, carbonara, clam pasta, tiramisu and 2004 vintage wine. It was more than our expectation, absolutely amazing! The staff team was excellent! They were so professional and kind. Ee hight recommend it!

Food was great! I tried pasta, steak and the pistachio torta (please try it, you won't be disappointed). As a solo traveller, the staff were friendly and kind, service was great and not rushed. Also affordably priced. For unique live entertainment, pick an outdoor table! Vehicles get stuck on a nearby side street and the staff help save the day lol. Overall, would recommend and their VIP area is stunning. I overheard the table next to me requesting their food for their wedding, that alone speaks for itself. Grazie mille!

10/10The meal was superb. The steak, risotto, ravioli, and cheesecake were all spot on. We celebrated our daughter’s 18th birthday dinner here and it was definitely the right choice. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The minute I walked in, I felt the ambience was comfort. I ordered the carbonara & my friend got the steak. We split both, but after one forkful of the carbonara, I regretted sharing because it was the best carbonara I had ever eaten! The owner came to the table to chat for awhile & he was charming. I’m definitely coming back here on my next visit to Firenze!
