excellent! The owner and staff are all very warm and friendly, and they can speak Chinese, so communication is smooth and easy. One young man from Albania is especially impressive—he’s both handsome and enthusiastic. Another guy has an incredible talent for languages—his Chinese pronunciation is remarkably accurate. I was truly surprised!

We let our server choose our appetizer, pasta dishes, and steak and it was phenomenal. No stress at all and enjoyed every thing we had. Amazing dessert and wine as well. Let them guide you if you don’t know what to get!

10/10Fantastic meal all around, one of best, if not the best, meal we had in our time in Italy. Easily the best steak I've ever had, better than many restaurants offering the famous Florentina. We sat upstairs and the ceiling is stunning. Professional service and absolutely an attention to detail.

Great setting and the food was great. I had the truffle pasta which was a little light on truffle for me, but still super tasty. The white wine and the steak was fantastic, would definitely recommend.

10/10This was our second visit to Ristorante dei Rossi, and sitting upstairs provided a new and delightful experience. The restaurant offers a superb selection of authentic dishes, paired with an excellent wine list. The service is exceptional, and the ambiance feels genuinely local, making it a refreshing escape from touristy spots. Ristorante dei Rossi is a must when in Firenze!

The staff were very helpful and were happy to be sociable which for a single (recent widower) it was appreciated that they would give their time to talk about Florence and Italy. The steak was the best I have had and was cooked to perfection. The restaurant was tucked away but not far from the main road and I recommend that one should make the effort to discover this gem of a restaurant.

Outstanding service and the food was phenomenal, we had the Tagliatelle alla Porcini and went for the Bistecca alla Florentina which came accompanied with volcanic black salt and was cooked to perfection, it was the easily best Florentine Steak we had during our stay in Florence. Apologies to the other diners that saw me chewing on the bone 🤣 Highly recommend.

7.5/10central location of the restaurant. risotto and ossabuca are not very good, although they look beautiful. pasta is average. there are places nearby that are much better in terms of cuisine

7/10Food was great but service was lacking. We had a reservation and arrived on time. We were seated quickly but then largely ignore for almost 20 minutes. During that time, a waiter dropped off 1 menu for our party of 6 and quickly left with no explanation more did he ask if we wanted water or bread. We were very close to leaving but he came back close to 20 minutes after we arrived and brought more menus. We had to ask for water and bread. He brought the bread but no olive oil or vinegar. All of the other tables around us seemed to be getting attention but we felt ignored.
