The service at this restaurant was first class - we were kept shaded from the sun, informed about the dishes available and served quickly and efficiently! The food was absolutely delicious - 3 of us went for steaks and the other for the risotto. Steaks cooked to perfection and both the peppercorn and porcini mushroom sauces were lovely. We ordered a salad and some haricot beans as accompaniments to our dishes and they too were great. The restaurant is a 2 minute walk from the ponte vecchio - don’t miss it! Most certainly recommend.

Service wasn’t good. We never received any bread at our table. The owner seemed annoyed when I asked about the 20% discount for ala carte. Everyone else got served while we waited. We should have gone to the place next door.

The staff allowed us to sit upstairs to have our dessert on our special night. Being able to sit up there alone beneath the magnificent ceiling painting was a memorable way to celebrate our engagement. Thank you to the staff.

The appetiser with eggs was really great but the rest not so good. We were extremely disappointed with the carbonara: not taste and bitter. Please teach the cook how to season. One waiter was really nice but an other one was extremely unpleasant and was not caring at all. I was hoping for something better.

The food was good. The wait staff seemed overwhelmed and not quite organized with the reservations and where to seat people. We had called and booked the reservation for inside but were placed outside. Besides that the food was fantastic. We had the mixed salad, linguine with clams, and steak. Very tasty meal!

We have been staying in Florence for 6-7 weeks (work) and we eaten out every night. We have only had 2-3 negative experiences. This place has a fantastic ambience and the food was good. However for $180 we left hungry and we are not tight wads (some of our nights have been Michelin) nights. The plates were skimpy and the servers were dressed in black t shirts. Granted it was 100 degrees but long story short, there are MUCH better places to go see

The steak was great. We really enjoyed our meal and the staff were great too. Don’t skip dessert. The pistachio cake stole the show and was a unique surprise to a complete a great meal. I highly recommend dinner here on your next trip to Florence.

Fantastic food - let them curate a meal for your table, it's a culinary adventure that was just so enjoyable. Great wine choices & value, accommodating to children and the gift of a bottle of house wine was over and above. Loved it here.
