A cut above the usual in Rome. I would be regular if I lived here!

First of all, my last name is Del Frate (no relation) so finding a restaurant with the same name was special. I have to say that it did not disappoint. The service was great and the food was fantastic. There were 6 of us. Each person had a different dish and everyone was very satisfied. We finished dinner with deserts. Tiramisu, Semifreddo, gelato and they even made me an Affogato, which was not on the menu. We were not rushed at all. We had a fantastic meal and a very enjoyable evening. Than you to the Del Frates.

This place has excellent wine, excellent food and excellent service. That is why we keep coming back every time we return to Rome!

We found a very pleasant environment at the restaurant and food was even better. Very creative recipes followed by high quality ingredients and a remarkable presentation

A bit expensive, limited menu options but all excellent. Amazing wine and liquor list. Kind waiters but difficult to call their attention to come to the table. I suggest you check the menu before going to see if it suits your taste. Highly recommended

Two of four pasta dishes were good, two were not. Service was slow and inattentive, bordering rude. Having just traveled through a large part of Italy, we found this establishment to be the least welcoming.

Nice place, the food is good but somehow not exceptional. Interesting wine selection but only wines from the most common and well known winery. I had tuna tartare with a glass of Trento Doc, some nice cold cut well paired with an interesting Chianti Classico and pretty flat sweets with two different meditation wines. I ended it up with a glass of whisky with chocolate. The place is nice with some interesting rooms surrounded by hundreds of bottles of wine, the atmosphere is pretty formal, quite and welcoming.

On the way they show they open at 6.30pm. It is not true . It was only for appetizers and everything was disappointing. 3 little pieces of cheese like 20 g each was 12 euro
