We timed our reservation to enjoy sunset and it did not disappoint. What a glorious view. However the service surpassed that moment. We were greeted with a glass of prosecco and a fried cheese dish from the chef. We loved chatting with the staff about pets and life! Then the food, yum!! We had salads with amazing tomatoes, a fish appy, ravioli filled with braised beef and a perfectly recommended bottle of wine. I highly recommend an evening here.

This restaurant was the food highlight of our trip to Italy. The staff made us feel like honored guests. Great recommendations for the wine and multiple courses which included a couple of surprises from the chef. The coconut egg dessert was highly recommended and it lived up to the delicious description. I selected this restaurant after reading a review from one of the Michelin star restaurants in which the reviewer praised this restaurant over the Michelin. Glad we followed his advice and selected Restorante di Sole. The food and view were fantastic!

10/10What a great place! Excellent in every way, from the genuine welcome to the excellent food, sensible wine list and impeccable service. And the best view in this part of Italy! Vico Equense is an oasis of relative calm on this frenetic stretch of coastline, and Ristorante di Sole… di Luna is the absolute highlight.

This restaurant has the most beautiful views across the bay. The setting sun slowly dipped towards the sea. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the menue. The food was fantastic and service excellent

10/10The room was beautiful, and the table setting was formal. The view from the restaurant is wonderful. The wait staff was welcoming and friendly. We greatly enjoyed the meal. We asked for a cheese plate for the last course, which was not on the menu, and the restaurant obliged. Thanks very much! It was a wonderful meal and evening.

+1This restaurant came highly recommended from friends who visited Italy! Everything was perfect from the greeting with a glass of prosecco to the perfect fresh fruit dessert! The lobster spaghetti was the BEST I’ve ever had and the red fish was cut table side. Antonio gave excellent service! The view was beautiful as well overlooking the water! We will be back again! Perfetto!

+2This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The staff was so nice they gave us recommendations on the food and things to do. The gave us complementary food and drinks. The food was DELICIOUS! Even the bread was amazing. I got the sea bass and it was great. The desserts were not only beautiful but also fabulous and unique. My friends loved their oysters. Overall such an amazing night thanks to the great food and wonderful staff. I need to come back here!

10/10An unforgettable 60th birthday dinner. We were treated to some beautiful littles touches such as amuse-bouche and complementary Prosecco. Our waiter, Antonio, was really attentive and suggested the perfect wine for our selection of fish main course. Food was amazing, ´sprinkled’ with a perfect sunset over Capri. A wonderful holiday experience. Grazie mille!

10/10Did a search for local restaurants and we came across this one. What a lucky find! Fab food, super service and unbelievable views! Highly recommend. Our most memorable evening during the week we spent in Sorrento and its beautiful surroundings. If you are in the vicinity please go as you will not be disappointed!

10/10What a hidden gem. The views and ambiance are what dreams are made of, and the service was amazing. Went here for a birthday dinner and it didn’t disappoint at all. The only thing I would say is that the food was a bit salty but otherwise, magnifico

10/10Happy and professionally attentive staff. Spectacular view. Delicious food. Staff were very careful about avoiding nuts for two people in our party, and when in doubt, provided an alternative. Definitely would return again, even though prices are on the higher side for Vico Equense

6/10The staff are friendly and the view is phenomenal but the food is very disappointing. Would not recommend for this reason. Prices are a bit higher than normal.

Good evening, thanks for the review. It is unusual for us to receive a 4 for cooking when, as you can see from other reviews, we have top marks. Even more unusual to receive a bad rating after eating only pasta with tomato sauce and tuna rollè. You know that Michelin feeling of proper table service without getting formal, snob or uptight? Not easily found at this pricepoint! Pure friendlyness and care. And that includes a skilled sommelier for excellent wine pairing. Food: Fresh local dishes, full of taste and beautifully served. Complete and tasteful combinations of ingredients at all three courses. Very romantic and not busy too and perhaps most amazing is the view. Highly recommended!

10/10We spent 10 days in Italy and this was our favorite meal by far! The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Joseph was our waiter and did a wonderful job explaining dishes and making recommendations. The setting on the terrace could not be more beautiful and romantic. We were surprised the bill was such an amazing dinner and experience.
