Ignored upon arrival despite having a reservation. Had to wait for table to be set. I asked for prosecco while waiting, never came. Waiter arrived 25 minutes after we were seated. Among 4 of us, half the food was ok, half pretty good- nothing spectacular. Tagliata was the only dish that was very good. 2 dishes that were brought were wrong, had to switch them out. Helpers delivering the food had no clue who ordered what, half asleep on the job. Waiter showed very little interest in checking in to see if we needed anything . Setting, beautiful. We won’t return.

10/10This was our favorite meal of our week in Italy. The setting was so delightful. The food was less expensive than many meals in much less inviting places. We were so glad we had this experience!

10/10Atmosphere in the garden....food typical delicious local Tuscany speciality's as my pasta with porcini and filet on fire with bacon....!🙏💪😘....and the people, sooo nice and dedicated.....we will come back coming Thursday!💪😘😉

8.5/10A lovely place to have dinner and the food and wine is very good but we did have a couple of issues: the bruschetta arrived after the main courses for some unexplained reason, and one of our steaks was well done when we asked for medium rare, and the waiter tried to convince us it was medium rare. Irritating. If you make a mistake, fix it. Don't deny it.

10/10Fantastic restaurant near Montepulchiano. The setting was amazing- in an olive tree grove with some tables right under the olive trees. Food and wine were wonderful and service excellent. Highly recommend.

10/10We have somehow managed to omit L'Oliveto from our itinerary over the years. We have finally made amends, and it was spectacular! From the greeting to the seating to the eating, all was better than expected. The steak was delicious, tender, tasty. Highly recommended! The wine list is pretty extensive, focusing on the Strada Vino d'Orcia, and includes some truly rare bottles. All in all, good times indeed!

10/10We are astounded. This is year (10? 12?) that we have spent a month in Tuscany, but our first visit to L'Oliveto. It's definitely the best dinner we have had along the Wine Road, and perhaps the best ever in Italy. It was absolutely the best beef and pork - tender and flavorful, well presented and bountiful. The staff are attentive, friendly, knowledgeable. The owners went out of their way to make sure we were happy. No, we are not travel writers or agents, just a couple of old geezers enjoying our home-away-from-home. Go!

Ci dispiace apprendere dalla sua recensione che la sua esperienza presso il nostro ristorante sia stata così negativa da non aver apprezzato niente, né il cibo, né il servizio né la location. Ci mettiamo la faccia e tanto duro lavoro. Anche se quasi la totalità di loro ce lo dimostra, rimaniamo basiti quando riceviamo commenti così distanti dalla maggioranza delle opinioni. La nostra cucina affianca cibi della tradizione a piatti che sprigionano un pizzico di fantasia del nostro chef per evitare che i menù della zona si "appiattiscano". Selezioniamo e lavoriamo le materie prime con attenzione. I nostri collaboratori sono molto attenti al servizio e forniscono suggerimenti su cosa mangiare e su cosa bere ai nostri ospiti. La nostra location è quasi unica nella zona, con una vista sull'oliveto, per la quale riceviamo complimenti in continuazione. Ci dispiace che non abbia espresso il suo disappunto immediatamente, ci avrebbe permesso di capire quali fossero le nostre mancanze e comprendere come migliorarci.

10/10The local wine was excellent as was the beef cheek stew and the carbonara. Pleasant waiter and plenty of parking. The price was also very reasonable. I would definitely come again.

10/10The fine table settings, service, and refined courses in such a naturally beautiful and peaceful setting created an amazing (and fairly priced) dining experience for our family. Our 7:00 reservation allowed us to enjoy the surroundings to their fullest. Do not hesitate to book a table in the olive grove. 11/10 rating!

The carbonara, the beef, the tiramisu, the cheesecake, the wine...all divine! This agriturismo is set in the most scenic and beautiful location. even though it was a bit too chill to sit outside for our 20:45 seating, we enjoyed the indoor atmosphere and hospitality of the staff. Highly recommend!
