We enjoyed our last evening of our holiday at this restaurant. The food and service were excellent. For gluten-free dining, the kitchen prepared a special ‘compliments from the kitchen’ dish. I really appreciated this and everything was excellent.

10/10Lovely seafood restaurant in a quiet residential square. Excellent, friendly service including catering expertly for a food intolerance. Generous portions of well presented and delicious seafood dishes. We visited the restaurant twice in a week and our meals and the service were as good as they were when we last visited in 2024. Hope to return on a future holiday!

6.5/10We were late and missed out on dining outside. Which was a shame. Nevertheless we received a warm welcome and were offered a table with no fuss. Throughout the staff were warm and accommodating. The food was superb. My tuna tartare was very tasty and exquisitely prepared- my wife’s caponata, same. Our pre starter taster was similarly delicious. My wife is gluten-intolerant - we had alerted them in advance - and she ordered seafood linguine g/f and I had same, but standard preparation. Again it would be impossible to criticise the food - it was delicious, as was the accompanying wine. But the wait for our mains really spoiled the experience for us - not far off an hour. The staff were very very busy serving tables and it was hard not to conclude they were short-staffed. When our food finally arrived - we were told, without asking - that the delay was caused by the care taken with the g/f preparation. That didn’t seem realistic to us… In summary - food great, service less so

Thank you for sharing your experience. When it comes to intolerances and allergies, such as your gluten allergy, our staff follows very scrupulous procedures to ensure maximum safety. Before starting to prepare your order, the entire station is thoroughly cleaned to avoid any type of contamination. The gluten-free first courses are then cooked using a separate boiler, dedicated exclusively to this type of cooking: for this reason the waiting times may be slightly longer, but it is a necessary choice to protect your health. Our welcome appetizer, which we offer to all our guests, is also always freshly prepared. In your case, it was specially made gluten-free, precisely to respect your dietary needs. We really care about offering a careful, safe and pleasant experience, and we thank you for giving us the opportunity to demonstrate it. We hope to see you again soon!

9.5/10Out of the crowded main road or port this gourmet restaurant offers all the typical island platters with a touch of fine and home at same time. Quite and comfortable it the ideal table for a a couple a family and friends that like to socialise a little apart from the centre noise. Fair prices and impressive wine list with many many bubbles, local and international.

7.5/10A very pleasant evening in delightful quiet square. The service was attentive and very slick, however the food itself was interesting but not standout. The food throughout Sicily was of a high standard. However, given that I booked the restaurant for a special occasion and sought out the best place in town, I was a little disappointed. I would recommend it for a decent meal very professionally served but choose with care, I was particularly disappointed by the bbq octopus, I felt it was burnt and overcooked....perhaps I made a poor choice.

nice Italian restaurant with good food and ambience. it is near a local church with many locals roaming around. the prices were a bit steep even with the discount, but that's the only negative side.

10/10There is a reason why TA rate this as number 1. Simply excellent local food served with fantastic service. Had a range of starters and then primi and secondi with a couple of rosato to wash it all down. Fanstastic from start to finish ( except for the couple next to us who said the pasta was more al dente than used to and then proceeded to order a cappuccino at 8pm which as anyone knows is like ordering a Hawaiian pizza ). Fantastic top end Sicilian restaurant.

+1Amazing restaurant right in the centre of Castellammare. The food is divine and the owners are amazing at what they do. We dined here twice during our stay and even brought our friends. The owners were so kind: we told them that we wanted to try sea urchin pasta and they managed to find them just for us! Try this restaurant, you won’t regret it
