10/10La Sorgento has a warm and inviting atmosphere both outside on its terrace or inside on a cold day. Sara is a creative, modern and thorough chef creating delicious homemade pastas and sauces, specialty dishes and beautiful desserts for her numerous clients. Her father Michele is charming and makes everyone feel like family. The wine list is very good offering many from the numerous local wineries of the area. The restaurant is located on a hillside property offering accommodations and a lovely swimming pool. This spot is definitely one of the best in the area for lunch and dinner, and even breakfast should you make a special booking.

9/10We loved this restaurant. Had an excellent meal. The restaurant ambiance is the epitome of the local vibe. Service was excellent. The chef/owner came out to share some time with us. We felt like we belonged there

10/10Splendid food at a very reasonable price. The chef came out often to check on everything, and showed us the cheeses and his sauce. We had such a great time that we went back again.

10/10Impeccable Experience!!! We had the benefit of dining on a quiet evening. We were able to meet Chef Mike (who spoke little English but we managed with help of the kindest server, Serena, who did speak some English) and we just followed all of his suggestions. It was the BEST meal we had in the entirety of our two week Tuscan experience… and we ate some fantastic food while in Italy! He capped off our multi course meal with a perfectly prepared medium rare steak topped with julienned artichokes. The finale was a sublime warm pear cake. I asked him if he’d come to America and be our personal chef it was that good!!!! Happy New Year Chef Mike and Serena! Thank you for treating us like family!!!!
