10/10The setting was fantastic. The food was the best we have had so far in Sicily and that is saying something. The sommelier new Sicilian wines better than anyone in 2024. We had different meals. He chose an individual wine pairing for each of our meals!! We will be back.

+1A lovely setting, immaculate service, inventive and delicious food. These guys recently moved from their restaurant in Syracuse to start this ambitious new restaurant and they deserve your support. If you like Michelin star food and service instead of pizza, then this is the place for you.

6.5/10If you’re looking for a romantic and relaxed dinner go elsewhere. One family with a young child who was listening to cartoons on his iPhone with the audio on ruined the evening for the couples around them. The waiter didn’t intervene (shrugged his shoulders and said “the mother doesn’t think it’s too loud”) despite us moving tables and complaining and the noise visibly agitating everyone around them. It was so bad we rushed our last 3 dishes just to get out of there. The food was good but our total experience was awful and unfortunately the overall memory will be very negative. When you pay more than €200 for 2 people a restaurant should have better trained staff who can take charge when necessary.

6/10Very artistically presented cuisine; however, food is disjointed and uninspired. the beef/tuna tartare was under seasoned, lacking salt and acid. The meat did not taste fresh. The black lemon risotto was well executed; however the dish was lacking depth and interest. Quite one dimensional. The squab was quite gamey. Service was excellent and the space is beautiful. I wish the food would have risen to the occasion.

10/10Everything was perfect for our dinner at La Zaituna. The food was great, the service was 10/10 m, the location very calming and really charming.
