Delicious food and excellent service!

We enjoyed our dinner very much. The cheese tray with saffron infused honey was incredible. We loved the farm setting and the wait staff was very attentive.

From our arrival to our departure, the service, food, wine and outdoor setting was delightful. We don't speak much Italian, but the staff knew exactly what we requested with a minimum of fuss. Thoroughly enjoyed speaking with the young owner of the restaurant, who made us feel very much at home. I intend to book a Tuscan cooking class here as well very soon. Gorgeous place. Definitely will be returning 😆

+1The pictures don’t really do the place justice! It’s a stunning location with friendly attentive staff. We were waited on perfectly : given enough space and time to enjoy our meal yet someone was there to be asked a question or a further request made. This made it a relaxing and fun meal. The food is out of this world and mainly locally sourced too, including the wine. We’d highly recommend Restorante Le Pietre Vive.

We had to send both entrees back as they were cold. We were told one of our dishes was not meant to be hot, which was news to us (eggplant parmigiana). Anyways, they were fine to redo but it always feels at a bit off after. Very nice venue but you are on a farm so there are bugs.

Overall the food was good however the Fried leek Cannolo was difficult to eat in a bowl and could have been better served on a plate. Unfortunately our experience was marred by the 1km single dirt track access with no passing places. Leaving the restaurant in a brand new car we were forced to leave the track into the long grass verge with no view of any obstacles and there was a loud clunk and the car got covered in mud as the wheels spun. This is really unacceptable and passing places should be provided as soon as possible. In the mean time the verges should be mowed so appropriate places for off road passing can be identified.

Food was ok but disappointing considering the high marks this restaurant gets and considering the usually high standards of Tuscan cuisine: the steak overcooked, pasta all chitarra swimming in oil . The stinco (shank) of pork was delicious but a little dry and too little sauce. The pasta with broccoli, anchovies and pecorino cheese was the best dish and faultless. Another small issue: the Parking lot in the middle of an unpaved, uneven and unlit field approx. 100 m from the beautiful main building hence still quite a distance to walk on such an uneven terrain with no sign posted walkway to the restaurant. So don’t take your nicest shoes out for dinner.

A lovely venue with fantastic food and excellent service. A short ride outside of Siena, the restaurant is surrounded by farmland. Wonderful experience.

Beautiful restaurant in a beautiful environment. Service was great and the food was wonderful. It was chilly, therefore we sat inside which was nicely decorated. We definitely recommend this place for a nice dinner.

Wonderful spot! The pasta course was only average. The desert cake was dry and not very flavorful. The appetizer and the beef course were superb. The service was great until the end. We waited a long time for caffe and dessert.

Wonderful food. We ate here last year and came back again this year. One of the best restaurants we ate at around siena!

The place is a Tuscan dream. You arrive in the middle of nowhere, you see beautiful tables outside with romantic lights. When you go inside to the restaurant you feel like you were at home with your italian family. Food was amazing. They are doing their own honey. Ingredients are best in class! Strongly recommend

Wonderful location for a summer dinner, with tables outside on a huge lawn under the Tuscan sky. Service was friendly and efficient, very attentive to customers and well attuned to covid regulations. Our meal was good, although the menu (based on traditional Tuscan classics) is rather limited and prices not exactly economical. This may be fine during low season with fewer clients but when serving larger numbers in summer we were hoping for a little more variety. Having said that, most visitors will have no problem choosing something they enjoy - we certainly had no difficulties and enjoyed our evening a lot!

We're so pleased you enjoyed your evening with us ...we are specialized in farm to table, km 0, dishes, which does mean the menu isn't enormously long at any given time but actually changes seasonally; if you come in Spring you find asparagus and "marzuolo" truffle, in autumn porcini, artichokes, chestnut pasta and white truffles and so on.

Nice restaurant in a great area with a perfect atmosphere. Excellent food and great service. The menu gives a wide variety of selections, even for vegetarian. Good vine selection as well.

This restaurant was outstanding. The food was excellent and very tasty. Beef was cooked perfectly. Service was excellent. We chose to sit inside but lawn with tables looked delightful. Only disappointment was they did not have their tasting menu as they were between seasons. we will definitely go back.
