The "crispy" fish and vegetables were completely limp. The beef was undercooked. It felt like, because we sat at the window, "the best seat in the house" the server said, they were trying to get rid of us quickly. The whole experience was perfunctory, insulting, and unsatisfying. When I look at a previously posted picture of what I ordered ("crispy local fish"), it is evident that mine was hastily thrown together and completely unlike the posted picture. A definitive case of false advertising. Instead of a relaxing dinner, it felt hurried and brusque. The bread was good, as was the butter (when it finally came). We also had to ask for the bill twice. Once a waiter is annoyed with you here, don't expect good service. They did cook my husband's beef more done, and they offered to do that with my fish, but I wasn't convinced that double-fried fish was going to be any better. If you want a special evening at a restaurant where the staff actually cares, this isn't it.

The atmosphere, the lighting, the service, and especially the food. Everything was perfect. It was my favorite meal/restaurant in Venice. I started with the paccheri and the eggplant for the main.

6.5/10We had booked a table but had to wait to be seated outside. There was noone inside. We ordered sparkling water while we waited and had to remind the waiter twice when it didn't come. Waited nearly an hour for food to arrive and then discovered the waiter had omitted to put in the order for the starter so it was the mains that arrived. Instead of apologising for his mistake he said he hadn't understood the order which was untrue. We later got an apology and a free drink but it was overall unimpressive. Maybe the waiter was having a bad day. The food was good though.

8/10The food is really good, the place is nice and the waiter was very kind. However, despite having made a reservation, they had not a table for us and it took more than 1 hour to have the dishes ready. A pity that the owner only excuse was to say that it was Friday night, instead of offering apologies( that would have be enough to us).

A wonderful warm and authentic Venetian restaurant with wonderful food. The mixed seafood lightly fried in tempura batter was a stand out as was the risotto and the lobster pasta. Service was excellent and ambience perfect.

10/10This restaurant was really close to our hotel and in a great position on the canalside. The staff were extremely polite and welcoming. The food was delicious - we had seafood risotto and a platter of mixed grilled fish, both of which we shared - and I would recommend both of them. The service was prompt and efficient. Fantastic little place!

10/10We dined there last Thursday evening during what turned out to be the biggest rainstorm in 300 years. The food was delicious, we tried the branzino, sepia pasta, fritto misto and the spaghetti vongole and each one was delicious. We also had dessert and the clear favorite was the pistachio cheesecake! The ambience was great and the staff were lovely.

Everything was good with one exception. It took 17 minutes from the time we were initially seated to the time someone came and addressed us to ask what we would like to drink. After that, everything went smoothly, and the food was delicious. We had the seafood risotto and pistachio crusted tuna. Both were great!
