2/10Just a really bad place. Overcooked nasty pasta and unattentive service. Not Italians cooking. Just avoid at all cost.

4.5/10This is a small restaurant tucked away off the Piazza Navona. Seating is insided as well as outside in a small courtyard and a small inner space. Service is from the proprietor and 1 other server and was satisfactory. The food was of fair quality and generally typical Roman—not outstanding but passable. The rendition of spaghetti carbonara was what a workman would expect, hence the derivation of the dish. The fritto misto was overcooked and not particularly generous. The highlight of the meal was the artichokes. I have been to this restaurant many times over many years, but it has not maintained its quality and would not return

10/10Fast but appropriate service, they waited for each course to be completed before bringing the next and they were friendly and worked well as a team to make sure great service was provided.

4.5/10Quiet small corner close to Piazza Navona. Average food, not bad, but nothing really attractive or surprising or top quality, nice and kind but non-professional service. The place deserves more and could go up several steps with little effort and a little love for the restaurant business and a few drops of professional dedication without needing to skyrocket prices.

2.5/10This restaurant is NOT what it used to be. Obviously, it's changed owners and everything is different, from the kitsch decor to the truly inedible food. They get a better rating for service because when we sent back our meal uneaten, they refunded half the bill. This placed used to be a real find. Now it's to be avoided.

10/10Beautifully made rissotto and osso bucco, step away from Santa Maria della Pace, this is a lovely little hideaway with a great menu, AND: no crowds! Montevechio is off the main pedestrian streets so it is quiet and peaceful. Well worth it.

10/10Lovely experience! Beautiful location as it is a little secluded from the Main Street and it allows to create a nice atmosphere. Both spaghetti con Polepetta and Cannelloni di Carne were delicious

10/10The cutest little restaurant with the perfect setting. Tucked away from the busy streets this was the perfect location to end our vacation. The food was AMAZING! The BEST carbanara I've ever had, and the service was great. We will for sure find our way back here someday!

10/10This is the second time I have eaten here and it was better than I remembered. The pepper steak was fantastic and the pasta was very good as well. This is on a quiet street away from the crowds and was a nice change of pace. If you like red wine, I highly recommend the Marchioli Titus.

10/10I love this little restaurant. Tucked away on a side street near the Piazza Navona, it has the ambiance of a small neighborhood restaurant even tho in a very busy part of Rome. The service was excellent and friendly. We shared the carbonara and cacio e pepe and they were delicious. I have dinner here every time I come to Rome.

10/10We found this hidden gem 5 years ago on vacation and we were so happy to return. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is great and the food is delicious! The space is small, so be sure to make a reservation. You won't be disappointed.

10/10A gem! Homemade food, every dish was delicious, minestrone fabulous, fettuccine with truffles outstanding, fresh salmon steak perfectly prepared and seasoned, hearty portions, service was so warm and no rush to enjoy each plate, away from the noise and felt like being in Rome in the times of Fellini, yet mixed with a very cool vibe. We loved it and will be back!!

10/10This was our first time going to dinner at Ristorante Montevecchio and we already booked it again for tomorrow night! We are bringing some of our friends with us this time. The food is so well prepared and our server was an absolute delight. The prices are extremely reasonable. We had appetizers, salad, entrees and wine for a grand total of $58 euros! I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant, and we will surely dine at Ristorante Montevecchio whenever we are lucky enough to be in Rome.

10/10The perfect place for our last dinner in Rome. Located in a quiet part of the neighborhood. No mopeds or cars zipping past our table. Food was excellent and the service spot on. Just a 13 min walk to see Trevi fountain at night (or 3 min to piazza Navona if you want to skip the crowds)

8/10Very nice and cosy restaurant. It started of really well, nicely welcomed. We ordered the drinks and food. Unfortunately I had to ask to get a cooler my self for our bottle of prosecco. The parmagiano was amazing!! I took the meat filetto do manzo, and it was over cooked. I couldn’t chew through which was a shame. When they took it away, they looked at it but denied asking me why I didn’t eat it. Overal it’s a really cool spot. Stick to the pastas and the rose prosecco.

10/10It was an absolute delight to have dinner there. Very very nice and kind service! The goods was ver delicious and we had the impression even the pasta was freshly self-made. We definitely recommend!
