9.5/10We chose the 6 course vegetarian menu, not because we're vegetarians, but just because the courses appealed to us. However, this was I've of the best meals I've ever had. Each course was thoughtful and delectable. We were also presented with a welcome prosecco and a choosing limoncello with assorted cookies in the end. The waiter and waitress were sophisticated and kind and warm. An overall excellent experience.

+1What an amazing restaurant and experience. We were greeted with a glass of Prosecco then had a tasting menu which was fabulous. It was decorated in nostalgia and beauty. A perfect way to end our last night in Italy. Can’t wait to go back!

10/10Very nice ambiance, the staff very attentive and the food was amazing! One word of caution, the portions are more than generous so keep yourself under control when ordering. We had a wonderful time here, I am confident you will too.

6.5/10Historic restaurant with lovely caruso related artifacts / pictures. Other than that, food was disappointing, service was extremely slow and the overall experience mediocre at best. Restaurant was almost empty (only 6 tables on a Saturday evening out of 3 whole rooms...)

10/10Wonderful, unique atmosphere, top-notch food, a wine-list the size of a church Bible and great service. And if the conversation flags, just sit back and revel in the sound of the great tenor who gives the place its name. Probably one of the best restaurants in Italy and reasonably affordable given the quality.

+2I lead small group tours to every region of Italy, and dine in many restaurants throughout the boot shaped peninsula. Ristorante Caruso is a favorite. It ihas an elegant, yet not stuffy ambience. The staff provides helpful, professional and friendly service. But certainly come for the food and wine. Excellent choice in Sorrento.

10/10An incredibly enjoyable meal. My partner had the lobster and I had the Chateaubriand, both were excellent and the waiter was very attentive and helpful. The wine choice was superb.

10/10We walked by the restaurant while exploring Sorrento and were intrigued by the name. — Caruso—and the beauty of the site. From the moment we entered, the wait staff were very friendly and attentive. They immediately served us a complementary glass of sparkling wine. We ordered a pasta dish,, branzino, and duck—all were superb. We highly recommend this restaurant. And the music was eonderful—opera sung by Bryce great Caruso.

10/10I liked this restaurant very much. Cosy and elegant interior, and the food was excellent. Very friendly and professional waiters. They play Caruso in the background all the time, which could be a little to much in the long run, but it is not so loud, and fits nicely with the atmosphere.

10/10The lighting could be slightly less bright if we were to be overtly critical … but that is literally the only thing this restaurant could improve upon. The food was awesome. The service fabulous. We absolutely loved it. And very reasonably priced. We will definitely return one day x

10/10This restaurant was the best restaurant we ate at in Italy by far! Everything was perfect, the food, service, and especially the ambiance. We did not expect to find such as gem when we booked. 10/10We were absolutely delighted with our dining experience. The food recommendations from Mario were excellent. The staff was very attentive. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a great meal and great ambiance. Would definitely go again next time I'm in Sorrento.

6/10It was ok. We were looking forward to eating here but it was a let down. We walked in and the hostess was rude. We had a reservation that I made awhile ago and she said tables were reserved. The place was empty. The service was ok, nothing special. Food was basic and a let down also. Not worth it, go some where else.
