6.5/10Taste was ok, not the wow effect. No personal touch during service. Price was to high for a aperitif. Overal it was ok. Have been better and for the amount of money I expect better.

4/10Extremely disappointed with Osmosi, which is a theme we discovered to be well-known amongst locals; if only we’d known before we committed a precious night to what ended up being an absurd menu. Our table brought dialed-in palettes, substantial experience with tasting menus, and excitement around merging culinary prowess with art. Unfortunately, the only thing we took from this dinner was frustration, and frankly, embarrassment for the operation. We found course after course to be unique at the expense of enjoyment - as objective patrons, we were not tricked by the empowers clothing. Food can be art, it can push the limit, and it can showcase the chef’s personality, however being advised to “fight through” the bitter risotto is not appropriate. We were also disappointed to find an 80€ charge for champagne that was positioned as a welcome drink well before menus were delivered. Do yourself a favor and skip Osmosis, we sure wish we had.

10/10I knew it! Last year I happened upon Osmosi and was wowed (you can read my earlier review here). Couldn't wait to return to congratulate the team on their shiny new Michelin star! It's a lovely, modern space looking across the vineyards to Cortona... calm and pleasing. The staff are superb--kind and knowledgable and efficient. The wine list and the expertise behind it is a marvel... treasures greatly coveted along side new ones to discover. And shall we talk about the bread? The amuses bouches? the sauces? the perfect cottura? The magic and fantasy that create sublime dishes from humble, local ingredients? It was all so so good. More confident and more beautiful, too. Hooray and Congratulations!!

9.5/10+6We were very, very pleasantly surprised as the Osmosi experience! Thoughtful food, a great wine list and pleasant yet unobtrusive service. They say a 3* restaurant is one to go out your way for, but Osmosi is worth a special trip with 1*! And they will no doubt get another in the near future!

10/10This was our second time to Osmosi. Service was excellent and the servers and sommelier were very knowledgeable about the food and wine. And every meal course was delicious! Our favorite was the onion in pecorino sauce. Highly recommend!

9/10My husband & I were on our honeymoon & celebrating my birthday. The service overall was great. We knew it would be a long night, but we were at the restaurant for over 3 hours. It took about 40 minutes from our last course to receive our dessert. We were pretty exhausted by the end of our dinner. But the food was amazing.

10/10Excellent experience!!! Overlooking the wineyards of montepulciano, truly great food and superb service. The staff is amazingly prepped on all the different dishes . An efficient menu shows care also on the concept of offerings and quality of the food. Very well done!!

10/10Delicious food, lovely ambiance, superb service! Everything was tastefully executed from start to finish of the meal. They were kind enough to accommodate my dog, bringing her water when we arrived. The restaurant and surround setting is phenomenal.

4.5/10We had dinner here and were very excited after the wonderful recommendations from people in town and online however the food was underwhelming. We ordered off of the tasting menu and several of the dishes were difficult to eat due to their preparation. The risotto was undercooked and chewy, the pigeon pate tasted terrible and bitter and the steak was raw. The ambiance was disappointing as well. We were seated in the corner facing a beige wall. Overall I don't understand the hype and felt that we have eaten much superior quality food and had better ambiance in Italy and around the world. Very disappointing.

10/10Such a beautiful venue in Tuscany! The staff greeted us warmly and the food was absolutely amazing. We did the tasting menu and nothing disappointed. It was also such a great price for everything we tried and enjoyed. We had an excellent Chianti wine recommendation which the chef paired dishes with perfectly. Would definitely come back!

10/10It's very easy to give too many very good restaurants overly enthusiastic ratings, and in the case of Osmosi, there is not an option to give this exceptional restaurant the rating it actually deserves. It is more than very good--the food, the presentation, the cantine, the service, the warm, generous hospitality were all exceptional in an area known for superb food and service. That is saying a lot. The chef manages to create gorgeous, interesting food that is faithful to the locale and the season, and the displays his wonderful technical skills in combination with skillful blending of texture and flavor...and his dishes are both interesting (but not bizarre) and satisfying. I left feeling well fed and well cared for, and exceedingly happy. Isn't that what every diner wants from a restaurant? Absolutely worth a trip! Absolutely worth the price! Absolutely a a new treasure in the Val di Chiana.
