6/10Reservations at 8, seated at 8:15. Took over an hour to get 3 pasta dishes and a pizza.. Setting was nice, but we wouldn’t recommend it to friends traveling to the area.

8/10The Restaurant was packed. We waited 10 minutes to get someone to talk to us even though we’ve reserved the table and then it took forever to order drinks and food. Things got a lot better afterwards. The food was awesome and the service paid more attention once it cool down a little in the restaurant. Highly recommend the steak it was perfectly cooked

We asked for a table in the basement among the ruins and staff offered us one outside. When asked, they moved us to the reserved table. The ambiance was stunning. The food was AMAZING. We had beef carpaccio to start, followed by polpette in suga, rabbit and tiramisu. The rabbit melted in your mouth, the carpaccio was tender and flavourful and the tiramisu was lush and creamy. Unfortunately, the waitstaff were likely over committed. I dropped a knife while interacting with the waiter, who said he would bring a new one and never did (luckily I had the polpette and didn’t need it). They also brought dessert while we were halfway through our second course, sat it on the table and left. Felt very rushed. We left an item on the table and returned a few minutes later - the host was rude and was playing on his phone in seconds after essentially dismissing us. Thankfully, a waiter assisted us and we retrieved our item Go for the beautiful ambiance and the five star food. Staff, not so much.

9.5/10really nice restaurant, food was great, we were family of four and we ate pasta, salad and cold meat n cheese along with a bottle of wine and water, 120E service could be slightly improved if the waiter was more interested in customers than he was of the very charming front of house lady.

10/10Thomas was our waiter and was excellent: He gave a detailed overview of the history of the restaurant and the Pompey theater. Food was delicious, and the underground dining room was spectacular. It was a bit hot due to the lack of AC but definitely worth it.

Food was delicious and the downstairs has the remains of a theater. So cool! Make sure to request that area when making a reservation.

10/10It was a lovely and memorable experience—classic Roman-style food in a historic piece of Rome. My fiancee and I dined there three times in the same week! Ask for Anna when you eat there; she's a warm and friendly member of the waitstaff and made us feel at home. Shukran, Anna!

9/10Our server was accommodating and friendly. Hostess was so kind and sat us early ahead of our reservation time. The food and wine was really good. I would recommend this restaurant. We would definitely eat here again.

10/10We were set in restaurant on the main floor, after asking we could seat in the lower part, the cellar restaurant were we enjoyed a superb steak and a nice red wine. Service from Amin was excellent. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

5.5/10The location is good. Food is mediocre at best - a couple of the dishes we ordered were below average... And none of the dishes was really good. Service was polite but uncoordinated. Overall, a below-average experience. We were in Rome for a week, tried several restaurants of various price categories, this was possibly our worse experience.
