9/10Beautiful restaurant on historic site with a cozy feel. Food was excellent but the service was not. 2 members of our 7 member party did not get food for 20 minutes or so after the other 5 received their food. The waiters were working very hard but it was chaotic and they seemed understaffed.

4/10The appearance is quaint and waiter service pleasant but unfortunately the food was really poor. Most of it was returned. The waiter granted us the 30% off that we were already entitled to as we had booked through thefork.com. No atmosphere. Could do with some background music.

10/10The restaurant is an architectural marvel. We were seated in the lower level which feels like you are easting dinner back in the early days of Rome. The service, food quality, and ambiance was excellent. Pricing were very reasonable.

6.5/10I had been to Pancrazio severa; years ago and it was a classy, authentic establishment with an amazing history. This time the staff recommended eating on the main level where there was no atmosphere at all. Looks run down and cheap. Needs a facelift for sure. We walked downstairs afterwards to take a look at the rooms which were beautiful!!! They need to get some air down there and open the rooms. What a shame. I don't think they will have repeat customers without using the downstairs rooms. Also, they mis=calculated my discount. I ordrered dessert and asked for a scoop of icecream on the side and they told me the ice cream was not discountable???????

10/10Great service and delicious food in a building rich with history. We requested to sit inside to enjoy the building but the atmosphere on the outside patio seemed great too. Take the time to check out the areas downstairs that are part of the old theatre! We enjoyed the Roman style chicken, artichoke, meatballs, and the ravioli with pistachio sauce. The rigatoni carbonara was a bit too rich for our taste but still good. Would recommend to others and come again!

7/10The food was very good. A little on the salty side. Service was courteous but nothing special. Had an air of touristy restaurant about it. Overall a nice experience for our first night in Italy but I’m sure we are going to find quite a few others that will truly impress.

10/10Charming restaurant with the Ruins of the Teatro Di Pompeo in the lower level. First Roman Theater. Hostess was knowledgeable and server Amin was very nice. Carbonara, ravioli with pistachio, and fresh spaghetti with truffle excellent choices. Great location.

9/10We enjoyed the food as it was all excellent. We husband and I wanted to experience the real Italian style by having all the courses. They let us share each course because otherwise it would be too much food. The others in our party just picked the courses they wanted to eat. I don’t know if there was a problem in the kitchen as there were some really long gaps in getting courses. But the food was wonderful!!

7/10The allure of it being part of where Cesar was killed is part of what brings people in. I would recommend the primi piatti dishes over the secondi piatti dishes. The meatballs came with only 3. The roasted lamb was over cooked. Service was good. And space has a nice old works feel.

9.5/10Me and my wife are interested in food, and we might not always pick the mainstream choices on the meny. This restaurant has a good selection of typical roman dishes that were very tasty and the service from Amin left nothing more to ask for. Overall a very pleasant experience that I would recommend to anyone!

3/10The one saving grace about this place is its location. But accessibility does not justify the horrible experience. Even though the hostess came to our table to set it up, and 4 separate times I asked her if we could have assistance, she kept telling me one moment, it took over 30 minutes for a server to come to the table. She was disinterested at best, inattentive and unfriendly. Honestly, fine, whatever, I know that service in the US is not the same as it is in Europe. If the food had been even decent I probably wouldn't have cared. The food was horrific. Without a doubt the absolute worst food I had throughout multiple trips in Italy, possibly one of the worst meals I have ever had. (On the plane ride back to New York my friend had the airline pasta and said that it was much better!!). The caprese salad had the saddest, barely even pink hard tomatoes and grocery store mozzarella. My friends pasta ragu was GRAY! The meat was actually GRAY and tasted bland and gross. My pasta was way undercooked. I am very familiar with Al Dente, this was not that. It actually crunched when you bit into it. Embarrassing. Chef Boyardee made better Italian Food. We had not eaten ANYTHING since 7 am and were starving so sadly, we did eat what was given, but it was awful and put me in a terrible mood. What a sad waste of a way to spend our last night in the Country. I still can't get the taste of disappointment out of my mouth. Then, for the stupid cherry on the top of the Cr*p sandwich of an experience, when I went to use the bathroom (the same one it looked like the staff was using) there was no toilet paper AND no soap in the bathroom. Gross!! I was so over it. Please save yourself the misery. Eat ANYWHERE else.

9.5/10I went with my mom, it was our first reservation with The Fork and we even got to check the menu beforehand. The place is nice, it has seats inside and outside so you can chose where to sit, we sat inside because it was raining. The food was amazing and the staff very kind.

10/10This was the best meal we had in our 8 days of Rome. We were accommodated by the staff to eat in the ancient ruins of the underground theater where Julius Cesar was murdered. The waiter was wonderful and he took care of all we asked and offered suggestions for us. The service was prompt, the food superb and this was a wonderful find.

3/10Tourist Trap. We had to wait almost 1,5 hours for mediocre pasta - that wasn’t even warm. Also has the Roman artichoke - it was plainly the most disgusting thing I ate on our whole trip. Didn’t get any bread, had do ask for salt and olive oil - Service not interested in working, cheap interior, cold to sit outside.

8.5/10Delicious food in a beautiful restaurant. The only issues were that 1) it took us more than 45 min to receive our meal after our children’s dinners had already arrived. I do believe they simply forgot the order. 2) beautiful dining room, but the lighting was so so bright!
