We spent an amazing couple of hours here. It is an oasis of calm, beautiful surroundings, amazing food and wine, plus wonderful service. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

Excellent quality of the foid. Fetuccine con sugo di coniglio, risoto saferano con gamberi, maialino nero, sorbetto di pesche e vino biancollolo, Pietraroccia wines....simply excellent. This was our second visit and always satisfied at high level. The ingredients, selection of the tastes, the bezt we have at Ischia. The place i cordialli recommend. Just do not forget to book in advance! Place is in high demand. Small advice - go fir earlier dinner, at 7.00 p.m. and you will be served in very calm atmosphere. Staff is friendly an attentive.

An excellent dinner in a wonderful place. Wines (we tried white Cuotto and Scheria) are amazing and food an excellent selection of Ischian and Neapolitan best dishes. I loved everything, my foreign guests as well.

The restaurant is in a lovely spot surrounded by vines and lemon trees. They have a wine cellar on the premises and a viewing platform from where you can watch the sunset. The staff are knowledgeable and happy to spend time explaining the menu items and the wine choices. The food has typically Ischian flavours and is well presented. The ambience is quietly sophisticated and welcoming. It is a little difficult to find without directions but it is well worth looking for.

Too expensive for what we got.. we ordered a pasta with mushrooms of the menu and it was 20€ absolutely inadequate price for such a simple dish also we were not notified about that price.

It’s the kind of simple, delicious food made with good quality ingredients that you think you’ll have all the time in Italy and then often don’t get, so a place like this that delivers it is a gem. I went for lunch on my own, it was a charming spot and l’ll go again.

We visited during our honeymoon and they congratulated us and brought us a glass of Prosecco each. The service was excellent, as was the food and the atmosphere. All local and home grown produce. Our favourite restaurant in Ischia. Highly reccomend!

Beautiful setting on the hillside next to their vinyard and home-grown tomatoes and chillies We went for the rabbit which they did to perfection.

Really lovely restaurant with fantastic food, would be nice if they could explain the wine a little better since they make their own and have a lot of native grapes that aren’t well known outside of maybe Southern Italy.

Perfect environment - a hidden jewel. I went with two people - and it was great. Two days later with 16 people - and it was also great. Everybody loved the food. And the wine is great!

We found this superb restaurant on our last day on Ischia and it restored our faith in the service and staff on the island. We found staff at some other restaurants in Forio to be rather cold and dismissing of our attempts to order in our rudimentary Italian (we like to try but only have "pochissimo Italiano"). I understand that this is predominantly a destination for Italian tourists, but had begun to feel like second class citizens. Ristorante Pietratorcia was the complete opposite, we were made to feel welcome, the staff were helpful in explaining some of the finer points of the dishes we had ordered, in relation to the provenance. There was a clear pride and passion for the food that they prepare and serve, not to mention the superb wines from their own vineyards. My wife and I had a fabulous evening, savoring every mouthful of our meal, the only regret being that we had not found this restaurant earlier in the week, it would certainly have warranted another few visits...there was certainly enough on the menu to keep me coming back, and it was very reasonably priced. If we ever make it back to Ischia, we will be sure to make this place top of our list. A big thank you to the proprietors and staff, Ian & Julie

We had a delightful meal with great service at a reasonable price! We enjoyed the selection of traditional Ischia dishes and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the house-branded wine!

The Cantine Pietratorcia are blessed with a fantastic location up on the Cretaio Hill, in which they blended an elegant yet rustic set-up. It feels magical to have dinner here. The quality of the food is superlative (we had the Coniglio all'ischitana tasting menu), portions are good sized and the wines are locally grown by them. Super friendly service and good price/quality rate. Definitely one of the best restaurant on the island!

Great service, fabulous rabbit meal. Very good value for quality food & enjoyable wine also. My husband said it was the best rabbit he had ever tasted.

A great experience in the magic atmosphere of a beautiful garden. A warm and professional service. In each proposal there was the taste of a careful research and the respect of the tradition and the love for the local products.

Really great experience, my second time around, brought some friends over, they loved it too. Quality food from start to finish, I usually don't eat this much, but I had to try all courses. Great wine list. Dining al fresco created the right ambience, definitely coming back.

Great find! Beautiful setting in the garden with vineyards surrounding us. Fresh ingredients right from the garden. We just loved it!!! Also they are a winery and I enjoyed their wine flight!

The restaurant didn’t have our booking so were not expecting us. We really thought the food was overpriced and really quite bland. The starter dish was many beans and just 2 or 3 mussels and clams no flavour. The fish was over cooked and not seasoned and came with boiled chopped potatoes again no seasoning. The dessert was meant to be vanilla custard in filo with fresh fruit but custard had not set so was runny watery. It was sadly very disappointing as very expensive and difficult to get to so feel we wasted lots of time and money at 100 euros
