5.5/10Too expensive for what we got.. we ordered a pasta with mushrooms of the menu and it was 20€ absolutely inadequate price for such a simple dish also we were not notified about that price.

9.5/10It’s the kind of simple, delicious food made with good quality ingredients that you think you’ll have all the time in Italy and then often don’t get, so a place like this that delivers it is a gem. I went for lunch on my own, it was a charming spot and l’ll go again.

10/10We visited during our honeymoon and they congratulated us and brought us a glass of Prosecco each. The service was excellent, as was the food and the atmosphere. All local and home grown produce. Our favourite restaurant in Ischia. Highly reccomend!

10/10We found this superb restaurant on our last day on Ischia and it restored our faith in the service and staff on the island. We found staff at some other restaurants in Forio to be rather cold and dismissing of our attempts to order in our rudimentary Italian (we like to try but only have "pochissimo Italiano"). I understand that this is predominantly a destination for Italian tourists, but had begun to feel like second class citizens. Ristorante Pietratorcia was the complete opposite, we were made to feel welcome, the staff were helpful in explaining some of the finer points of the dishes we had ordered, in relation to the provenance. There was a clear pride and passion for the food that they prepare and serve, not to mention the superb wines from their own vineyards. My wife and I had a fabulous evening, savoring every mouthful of our meal, the only regret being that we had not found this restaurant earlier in the week, it would certainly have warranted another few visits...there was certainly enough on the menu to keep me coming back, and it was very reasonably priced. If we ever make it back to Ischia, we will be sure to make this place top of our list. A big thank you to the proprietors and staff, Ian & Julie

10/10The Cantine Pietratorcia are blessed with a fantastic location up on the Cretaio Hill, in which they blended an elegant yet rustic set-up. It feels magical to have dinner here. The quality of the food is superlative (we had the Coniglio all'ischitana tasting menu), portions are good sized and the wines are locally grown by them. Super friendly service and good price/quality rate. Definitely one of the best restaurant on the island!

10/10Really great experience, my second time around, brought some friends over, they loved it too. Quality food from start to finish, I usually don't eat this much, but I had to try all courses. Great wine list. Dining al fresco created the right ambience, definitely coming back.

4.5/10The restaurant didn’t have our booking so were not expecting us. We really thought the food was overpriced and really quite bland. The starter dish was many beans and just 2 or 3 mussels and clams no flavour. The fish was over cooked and not seasoned and came with boiled chopped potatoes again no seasoning. The dessert was meant to be vanilla custard in filo with fresh fruit but custard had not set so was runny watery. It was sadly very disappointing as very expensive and difficult to get to so feel we wasted lots of time and money at 100 euros

10/10A fine experience, quiet and slightly remote, with fresh food, fine wines produced by the house, and many vegetables grown on site as well. A lovely setting for a leisurely meal
