A classic, beautiful room built into medieval wals and ceilings, with well placed tables and swift but caring servers. The food and wine were top flight. The pizza, nicely charred at edges, was full of very tasty mozzarella, fine mushrooms and salchicci with excellent texture and spicing. Simple mixed salads were very fresh, especially the small tomatoes that exploded with flavor. House Wines are very drinkable as is the tap beer served. The owner/manager was among the sweetish and most generous Italians we've ever encountered, and we'd return to her eatery repeatedly if we visit Gubbio in the future. Mille grazi to her and the entire staff.
