Went to Porto Pino on a Saturday together with my wife, to keep it short but sweet, it was a much better experience then I even expected it to be. The surprise menu's were a truelly fun and taste worthy experience. The service was more then great, very attentive, respectful and well mannered. The ambience was very well liked too, a calming and soothing environment, that made one feel at home and at peace. This review got longer then "short and sweet", but it truelly was a great experience, and I wish anyone with a doubt in mind to try Porto Pino out, to take that doubt away and give them a shot, you won't be let down.

Was one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve had with my wife. They cared our condition in every detail as well as food was soooo delicious and people who worked there was so kind and understanding. This restaurant is my favorite one in Leiden so far.

The surprise menu carried real no surprise (focaccia, beef carpaccio, tagliatele, entrecote, tira misu) and was average standard food, except the entrecote which was good. The tira misu was not good, with a “sponge” texture The service was very long Overall: very disappointing

Excellent Italian good in a great little restaurant in a great location. I have wanting to visit this place for many years and it certainly did not disappoint.
