This restaurant is located on the water which is nice, but not necessarily nicer than other nearby restaurants. Service was not good and I was asked to move after being seated to accommodate another guest who then ended up leaving before ordering anyway. Do not recommend, especially for the price.

Jus won’t come back again The food is not delicious and also overpriced The ambience and service is great jus that very chilly to dine outside at this time of the year and the food just turn cold in few minutes which is very silly The staff is very nice tho just not for the food

Dining at Ristorante Riviera was one of the highlights of our family trip to Venice. The elegant yet comfortable atmosphere, complemented by attentive service, made this meal feel special without being stuffy. The warm, relaxed background music helped set a lovely ambience. We all ordered seafood based dishes, and every plate was superbly fresh and flavorful. From perfectly cooked seafood pasta to delicate fish entrees, each dish reflected the classic Venetian dedication to seafood and high-quality ingredients. Overall, the combination of delicious food, scenic canal views, gentle music, and welcoming service made our family dinner truly enjoyable. This restaurant was a wonderful taste of Venice that we’d happily revisit.

We had a very special meal at Ristorante Riviera. Everything was perfect! Excellent food, flawless service. Really happy that we went there. Highly recommended!

We were pleased with our service and meals. We had a quiet corner table. The Lemoncello was a nice finish to our dinner.

The staff was wonderful, due to our train getting cancelled the day before, we were only able to get an early reservation the next night. We walked by that day and they were able to push our time until later. The service was excellent and both of our meals were delicious

The view is amazing as expected in Venice!! Service was on the slow side. Food was good, but I had better at Le Cafe as you’re heading to St. Marks Square.

The view was beautiful, with the sun setting over the canal. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. We had the fish of the day which was delicious and fresh. Would recommend 👌

The food selection and presentation was outstanding. The food for all three in my party was excellent. I had the basic spaghetti bolognese, a friend had the filet and my other friend had the special, sea bass. It was all well prepared and VERY tasty. We enjoyed it and the view. We had wanted to sit inside after a long day outside but it was warmer inside than outside on the promenade. So we sat outside with a nice breeze. Wasn’t bad at all. But the inside should be as hospitable. My ONLY negative. We’ll be back and we’ll be sending friends there on their journeys to Venice.

Nice location but lacking overall service and food quality. Risotto was undercooked and not hot when brought to table, service staff was not very welcoming and took some time to get drink orders.

Due to the rain, we had to sit inside the restaurant. We got a great table, and the staff was very friendly. The appetizers were excellent, and we were already looking forward to the fish. The fish was good but far from what we had expected. It was a whole turbot, but not grilled—instead, it came with a tomato-olive sauce and potato slices. It tasted quite good, but not as outstanding as the one we’d had the previous evening at another restaurant. It seemed like it wasn’t day-fresh. Very disappointing, especially considering the really high price. But as mentioned, the rest—including the ambiance and staff—was outstanding.

The food is delicious & the service was amazing ! Burrata and scampi appetizer. Lobster spaghetti & fish of the day. Everything was amazing.

Unfortunately it was drizzling and we had to sit inside which defeated the purpose of why we chose this place. We were also seated at the far back which felt a bit like a storage space. It was not ideal but service was attentive.

We were in Venice for the first time and stayed at the Hilton across the canal from the restaurant. The food was authentic Italian and delicious. My wife is celiac/gluten free and they had both gluten free pasta and bread which were both very good. The service and atmosphere were both great as well. We dined at a table 3’ from waters edge. We would definitely recommend. W
