Unfortunately it was drizzling and we had to sit inside which defeated the purpose of why we chose this place. We were also seated at the far back which felt a bit like a storage space. It was not ideal but service was attentive.

We were in Venice for the first time and stayed at the Hilton across the canal from the restaurant. The food was authentic Italian and delicious. My wife is celiac/gluten free and they had both gluten free pasta and bread which were both very good. The service and atmosphere were both great as well. We dined at a table 3’ from waters edge. We would definitely recommend. W

Sat out with a fabulous setting eating and drinking amazing food and wine under the stars in Venice…..what’s not to love about that? The food was excellent and the service staff just as good, really friendly. And creating a relaxing atmosphere. Thank you Rivera for hosting us

Better than expected than what we thought when we sat down. I chose this place mostly due the food pics.. The ambience was less intimate than expected as it's on the edge of this very large pier but that's my fault. Service was good,, drinks better than expected and the food was very delicious. I would go back for a casual dinner.

Tables were right on the Grand Canal at one of the less scenic spots, but one certainly does get the sense of the busy traffic on the canal as boats of every share and variety are going back and forth constantly. The service was competent and friendly, although the food could have been better. Nonetheless, it was enjoyable to watch the sunset over the water while enjoying the Venice atmosphere.

I think the experience here depends on the waiter that you get. Ours was very inattentive and barely paid us any attention. When we asked him to come to our table, he mumbled and was hard to understand. But we noticed and overheard tables nearby getting great service. Food was average. Overall our service experience in Venice was subpar compared to Tuscany (Florence, Siena).
