9.5/10The staff was wonderful, due to our train getting cancelled the day before, we were only able to get an early reservation the next night. We walked by that day and they were able to push our time until later. The service was excellent and both of our meals were delicious

9.5/10The food selection and presentation was outstanding. The food for all three in my party was excellent. I had the basic spaghetti bolognese, a friend had the filet and my other friend had the special, sea bass. It was all well prepared and VERY tasty. We enjoyed it and the view. We had wanted to sit inside after a long day outside but it was warmer inside than outside on the promenade. So we sat outside with a nice breeze. Wasn’t bad at all. But the inside should be as hospitable. My ONLY negative. We’ll be back and we’ll be sending friends there on their journeys to Venice.

6.5/10Nice location but lacking overall service and food quality. Risotto was undercooked and not hot when brought to table, service staff was not very welcoming and took some time to get drink orders.

Due to the rain, we had to sit inside the restaurant. We got a great table, and the staff was very friendly. The appetizers were excellent, and we were already looking forward to the fish. The fish was good but far from what we had expected. It was a whole turbot, but not grilled—instead, it came with a tomato-olive sauce and potato slices. It tasted quite good, but not as outstanding as the one we’d had the previous evening at another restaurant. It seemed like it wasn’t day-fresh. Very disappointing, especially considering the really high price. But as mentioned, the rest—including the ambiance and staff—was outstanding.

6/10Unfortunately it was drizzling and we had to sit inside which defeated the purpose of why we chose this place. We were also seated at the far back which felt a bit like a storage space. It was not ideal but service was attentive.

We were in Venice for the first time and stayed at the Hilton across the canal from the restaurant. The food was authentic Italian and delicious. My wife is celiac/gluten free and they had both gluten free pasta and bread which were both very good. The service and atmosphere were both great as well. We dined at a table 3’ from waters edge. We would definitely recommend. W

While the view was fabulous, the service was poor -no personal attention or recommendations. Food was so so - octopus lacked flavor. Ravioli was decent.
