To share this meal with family was a memorable experience as we tasted and appreciated a new Calabria taking the old, turning it on its heels into fresh, delectable morsels. Layered with surprises each seasoned bite burst with flavour in every course. The sauces were silky, ravioli the perfect pillow, each dish a beautiful creative presentation, and the flavours respectful to the ingredient. Chef Bruno thank you.

+3We had such an amazing time dining here! We were celebrating my birthday, and the restaurant did not disappoint. We really enjoyed the food courses and the wine pairings. The staff treated us like royalty for my birthday. I would definitely dine here again if we are in the Pizzo area. One of my all-time favourite experiences on our three week trip through Italy.

I had lunch today at 12:30pm at San Domenico restaurant in Pizzo Calabro and, although the tasting experience was amazing and the Chef was really kind to serve us a personal lunch meal, I had an uncomfortably and unpleasant approach from the restaurant owner called “Mary”, which I really do not know if she is the owner but it is what the Chef said. She called the Chef and told I had to pay 50 euros for each of the 3 guests that didn’t show up to the reservation I made for 5 people. My mother went to the Hospital (emergency room) yesterday and was not feeling well to go to the restaurant today, and so my brother and my father stayed with her at the hotel, and I went with my girlfriend. Even though I explained the situation to this so-called Mary she did not care and charged me 150 euros. It felt really rude her approach. I would highly recommend that The Fork review the listing of this place. I suppose a The Fork restaurant should not handle a customer service and experience in such a rude and unpleasant way. I would kindly share with the total bill in case you need. Thank you.

When a person is unwell, the restaurant is immediately notified, and not an hour after your arrival by sitting at a large table of 5 people in 2, it is not fair to the other guests (a table of 4 on a small table) in a full restaurant. Precisely for this reason, terms and conditions are accepted, to preserve fairness and respect for the restaurant and those who work there. We are very understanding about emergencies but not about lies. Good day

Really astonishing atmosphere on the terrace. Sea view on the sunset. Excellent service and really flexible with our requests ( family with 3 little daughters). Really small inconvenient the small parking place not reserved but the personnel was extremely prompt in helping us. Really close by walking to the city center and night life, shops and sightseeing of the gulf. Overall excellent also for the food quality, preparation and price.

This restaurant has everything to please. The service staff and the chef are very friendly and listen to their customers. We were tempted by the tasting menu and were delighted. The dishes were finely cooked, creative and well presented. Every dish was delicious. The accompanying wines, suggested by the waitress, were in perfect harmony with the food. An unforgettable gastronomic moment.
