Great food and very friendly staff. We were unfortunate to be the only guests in the restaurant this evening. The interior is clean but somewhat dated. We’ve been coming here for years and like the food and friendly people.

The service was super nice and welcoming! Food was tasty and much more varied than other Thai restaurants I have tried. We also got good recommendations regarding the quantity of dishes to order. We were looking for a restaurant where our dog would be welcome as well and this was perfect!

Excellent Thai meal. The outside of the restaurant looks nothing special. However the food was superb and service very good too. We had the veggie set meal - highly recommended

Price/value is not good. 120+ EUR for two persons in a very outdated environment with okay food and where the waitress was often not in sightseeing is way too much.

Hidden in an arch by the old canal, this intimate restaurant serves tasty, authentic Thai fare that really hits the mark. Not cheap but certainly worth paying that bit more for a genuine Thai experience. Place was busy.

My husband and I have been eating here since 2004 .. River Kwai is a gem. Authentic food, no fuss and its the food that does the talking. Utrecht needs to retain such genuine restaurants and River Kwai will can always count on our continued patronage .

This is by far one of the best dinner experiences in NL. I already come to this restaurant for years an always receive amazing food, kind service and perfect atmosphere.

The food was excellent and my guests really enjoyed the meal. The wine was reasonably priced and overall the food and wine a great experience. As it was a week night there was only one waitress, so sometimes we had to wait a bit for service, but we were not in a rush, so it didn't bother us.

The food was really delicious. The atmosphere and location is not that authentic and nice as in other restaurants at the Gracht. Price and the food is in good relation.

A bit long period of time waiting for food on Saturday but it 's really worth the time. The taste was beyond my expectation and service was so impressive

Menu is good for vegetarian also they have a menu in english. Quantity verse price is ok, not much. Overall a good experience.
