My wife is a foody and I'm a wine lover. We had a really enjoyable meal and overall experience at Roberto Bristrot. Francesco was a joy to talk to about our meal and wine options. He actually escorted me to where they kept their wine and talked me through their wine list between Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti and Barolo. I went with his Barolo recommendation and both my wife and I really enjoyed it. We each had a pasta primi course (mine was Spaghetti al promodoro and hers was Tortellini in parmigiano sauce). For both dishes, the pasta was hand made and the sauces were delicious. For secondi we shared their special of the day, which was marinated beef tenderloin, cooked rare and sliced thinly. It was fantastic. Every dish was way too much food and we took a lot home for lunch the next day. The service was first class and very personal, the ambiance in the Quadrilateral area was incredible, and we just really enjoyed the experience! Thanks especially to Francesco!

My wife and I really enjoyed this little restaurant in beautiful Bologna. We are off menu and are really happy that we made that choice. Fabulous food, wine and service. Thank you to Francesco for your fabulous hospitality. A big thank you to the chef for the excellent flavours and presentation.

As a family from Scotland on holiday with a toddler, evening dinner can be difficult but the team at Roberto's were so friendly and kind and wonderful with my 3 year old son. Top marks for that never mind the incredible food. Every one of us had delicious meals, highly recommend for a special evening.

To expensive for what you get. It’s a tourist trap. The quality of the food although is more than average. The wine waitress was professional, the other one still has to learn how to serve properly.. it’s a strange place…… the menu gives you the expectation to be in a “ better” restaurant but then you have the relatives( or friends) of the owner sitting and yelling throug loudly with the owner.

Amazing location and cozy atmosphere. The food was great, the service was fast and people were really nice. The price is not cheap, but normal for the center of Bologna who offer that kind of food. For me it was a great experience, a relaxing sunday lunch with my lover, so I definitely recommend the place!
