Dined at Rodin on 05/24/24. Arrived early for our 6 pm reservation and were welcomed and directed to our table. Service by all the staff was excellent. Our server, Paulina, was very pleasant and engaging, which we greatly appreciated.. We ordered the scallops appetizer as well as the skirt steak and risotto as the mains. All were well presented and flavourful. A very good experience worthy of your consideration.

The starter was great, the main was crazily salty, dessert was nice. They fill up your glasses below the right level, so order a bottle. Water is free (that is good!).

The food was delicious and the service was quick and friendly. But the noise level is deafening: the restaurant shares the same space as the bar area and it's all hard surfaces - so the sound is not absorbed and keeps bouncing around. It was near impossible to have a conversation at our table - so please, add many more soft furnishings and create sound-blocking barriers between the bar area and the restaurant. The waiter also did not check our The Fork reservation and our 30% discount was not applied.

We had a lovely 3 course meal at Rodin. It was a fantastic mix of traditional Dutch flavors prepared with French techniques. The staff and ambiance were wonderful. We enjoyed our visit.

We had a date night at Rodin last week, with the 30% discount from The Fork. They bring tap water and bread with a tapenade when you're ordering, which is always nice but rare in the Netherlands. We shared the scallop starter, the combination of sweet potato cream and smoked black pepper syrup worked so nicely. We ordered the cod gratin as our main dish, it was served with a celery root mousse. The fish was well cooked and flaky, the mousse was really tasty too, both the wine syrup and the mousse complimented the cod. To finish the meal, we had the poached pear and a cheesecake (it was the cake of the day). The pear on its own was a bit lackluster since it wasn't poached in wine, it was served with some sweet bread and walnut icecream (not housemade, unfortunately) which did help. The cheesecake was well balanced, one of the lightest (in a good way) I've had in the Netherlands so far. They have a nice wine menu with some decent options per glass, their housewine is especially good value! The restaurant is quite spacious, it'd work well for an office lunch/dinner or a family get-together. The staff is also nice, we were satisfied with the service. Overall, we enjoyed our meal at Rodin and we might go there again to try out their other dishes.

Perfect place to celebrate our friend's film being shown at the Film Festival! ???? Really loved the scallops and sea bass dishes. Friendly, attentive service and a nice, lively atmosphere on a Friday night. Would definitely return :)

The restaurant is an absolutely amazing spot to eat. The location is amazing, we were having dinner outside on a warm and sunny Saturday evening. While we're having good conversations, the staff was very friendly and took great care of us. The food portions were perfect, the taste was amazing, and with a great bottle of wine, we had everything a person could wish for. All I can say: the amount of quality you receive for the amount of money is extraordinary. They over-delivered on our expectations and undercharged on pricing in my opinion. I'd recommend anyone that likes amazing food and great service! 11/10, and a shoutout to the entire Rodin team.

The food was amazing - we had the salmon tartar, red beet carpaccio, lamb and octopus - everything was terrific but the octopus just blew me away - buttery smooth and perfectly seasoned. The waitress spread sunshine throughout the whole evening - making it the perfect experience.
