We ate at Meet Me 3 times in 10 days. It is an excellent family run business. The food is superb, the service is top notch and is very reasonably priced. The Sushi is fresh and very tasty. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

we had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. We ordered a mix of meat dish that included a sirloin steak, but what we were served was clearly a burger patty instead of an actual steak. When I pointed this out to the staff, they insisted that this is simply the way they serve it. It was obvious that what arrived at the table was not a sirloin steak at all. What made the situation worse was that no one acknowledged the mistake or tried to resolve the issue. There was no apology, no offer to replace the dish, and no effort to make things right. Instead, they just repeated that this was their normal preparation. Good customer service means listening to customers and taking concerns seriously. Unfortunately, that did not happen here. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed, and based on this experience I would not recommend this restaurant.

However, we would like to clarify a few points. The meat served on the mixed platter was sirloin from our regular supplier. We take honesty and quality very seriously and would never misrepresent what we serve. With our experience in hospitality, transparency and customer trust are very important to us, and we are always open to showing our sourcing if needed. During your visit, we did try to explain this, but there seemed to be a misunderstanding. We were also surprised that the concern was raised only after the platter had been finished. If you had mentioned it at the beginning, we would have immediately checked it and prepared a new dish for you. We respect all feedback, but we stand by the quality and integrity of our food and service. We regret that we could not reach a better understanding during your visit. We wish you all the best.

We visited this restaurant as it was highly rated on the fork in the Portimão area. We were greeted by a lovely chap who was very polite and had a nice chat with us throughout our visit. The waiter spoke fluent English which made the visit really easy and stress free. Myself and my partner both had the sirloin steak with fries and cheesy garlic bread - this came out in a decent time and was cooked slightly over what we had asked for, Medium. The only improvment i could recommend for the restaurant would be to have more selection of burgers and steaks, and include some steak sauces such as peppercorn. There was 1 beef burger and 1 chicken burger on the menu even though this is advertised as a sushi and burger specialty restaurant. Some steak sauces wouldn’t have gone a miss with the steak either. All in all we did enjoy our visit to the restaurant and we will likely go back for another meal.

We’ve visited Meet Me many times, and the quality has been consistently exceptional. We’ve enjoyed many dishes but we especially enjoy the sushi. The service is friendly and the space is calm and inviting, This is a rare place that delivers every time, which is why we keep coming back. A clear 10/10.

Very good family-run restaurant. We had a large sushi combo which was fresh, tasty, and with a lot of options. It also came in two rounds sor the hot rolls don’t get cold. Service is excelent. One of the best places to eat sushi in Portimao. Furthermore, if you are comming by car, next to the street parking, the restaurant is very close to the big public parking next to the city market.

The service and friendliness of Sam and Sushmita combined with the delicious sushi made this one of our favorite lunches during our 30 dat stay in portimao. We had the combo sushi platter and it was very tasty!

Overall, nothing bad to say against the restaurant. The lady who attended us was extremely nice and did everything she could to please us. She even kindly offered us to taste 2 sushis of the new menu as an appetizer, which was really kind of her. Unfortunately, we were used to the old « Meet me », the one that would serve delicious burgers… As our intention was to have a burger, we took the only 2 that are still available on the menu. Although they’re not bad, they’re very basic and it was a bit of a disappointment. But again, our bad, we should have read more carefully that the concept changed and it’s definitely not a burger restaurant anymore.

We had a wonderful experience at Meet.Me! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The food was absolutely delicious. The sushi was beautifully presented, and full of flavor. I also tried a non-alcoholic cocktail, which was not only tasty but also impressively decorated. A perfect touch to a great meal. Highly recommended!

Met friends for lunch. The restaurant is tastefully appointed and the AC was turned on to make us comfortable. My wife had the fried shrimp bowl and loved it. Our friends and I opted for the combo for 3. We were asked if we preferred fried, breaded, or raw sushi. The sushi was nicely presented, fresh, and excellent. I'm certainly not a sushi aficionado but our guests new quite a lot...and they thought it was very good. A few canecas, a few wines, and lots of conversation made it a worthwhile meet up (about an hour commute for all). I'm now a person that will look forward to sushi vs opting for fried seafood, etc. And, the service was top notch, making the experience that much more delightful. Four thumbs up...way up!
