I wish I had ordered the carbonara; my cacio e pepe was delicious but I had a bite of my fellow diner’s carbonara and exclaimed “oh my god” such that said diner was alarmed! Great food and delightful service, I recommend wholeheartedly.

Romantusa is truly a gem! The food is absolutely delicious — every dish is full of flavor and clearly made with care. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing meal. The service is exceptional — friendly, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. You can tell the host knows exactly what they’re doing and why they’re doing it, which makes the whole experience feel personal and special. Definitely a place you’ll want to come back to again and again!

This was our first visit to the restaurant Romantusa. A large party arrived at the same time as we did, it made no difference to the level of service. We were welcomed, taken to our table and given menu’s quickly. The food was exceptional, freshly prepared and served with a smile. We very much enjoyed our meal and the ambiance of the restaurant, there is no doubt we will visit this lovely restaurant again soon. We would highly recommend this restaurant, it deserves a 5 star rating!

We used to visit the same restaurant frequently before the previous owner - Aldo - retired and were keen to try it under its new identity. The menu and style has changed, but the food is as good as ever and the new owner was very welcoming. We loved it! The prices are excellent too. We ended up eating there twice on this trip and will certainly visit again next time we're in Rome.
