10/10I’ve tried to get a reservation numerous times on short notice visits. Spectacular view; we had a table at edge so our view was perfect. Service, food were outstanding. Highly recommend and prices reasonable. The view from the upper roof bar are even more amazing!

10/10Fabulous memorable Rome evening!! Amazing view over the Forum & white “Wedding Cake” 💕from our table on the Terrace at tgr Roof Garden in the Hotel Forum, building dates back to 1600’s. ! Personable wonderful matre’d & serving staff; excellent English & meal descriptions. Excellent food & presentation. Will come again when in Rome. Primi pati Pasta portions enough for 2. Best tasting acqua frizzante I had in Italy & one of best dinners in Rome!

10/10I can't stress enough how wonderful this place is! Perfect locatiom right next to the Colosseum, spectacular food and simply the best service I've ever had (I can't recall the name of the gentleman that served my table, but he offered to take a picture of me there since I was by myself, he even held one of the lamps just to help me get a good picture!). Try going right before the sunset, it's worth the view. After finishing your dinner you should try the rooftop bar, the drinks are expensive but the setting is mesmerizing, also quite small so it isn't too crowded or noisy. Best food I've had in Rome, please just make yourself a favor and give them a visit!

10/10It was late on a Monday night for dinner. So not busy and yet the waitstaff were as attentive as expected, but not intrusive. They made excellent recommendations. The filets could be cut with a fork and the turbot was delicate and delicious. The pasta superbly prepared! The oysters were fresh as well! It was expensive but well worth the 5 star service and food. Plus the amazing view!

10/10The Matre d was extremely welcoming and friendly! The food and wine were delicious. The staff were super accommodating and attentive. The view was beautiful! All of these elements combined resulted in a wonderful experience for us!

9/10Old world service plus amazing eternal views. An experience you won’t forget. Worth the price. Visit the America Bar on the roof before dinner. Great drinks ($$$) with crazy view for sunset.

10/10We had such a magical time having lunch at this restaurant. The view over the Forum ruins is breathtaking and that really would’ve been enough but then the food was delicious with very generous portions and to top it off, the best part was truly the service. The entire staff was so sweet and welcoming, we never wanted to leave. We made a sincere new friend in our wonderful waiter Rino. He will be among our favorite moments in Rome!

10/10Our last night in Rome, we had an amazing dinner at the Roof Top Restaurant at the Forum Hotel. Under a full moon, it was a magnificent way to celebrate a terrific family trip to Rome. The service, food, ambience and view was magnificent.

10/10We had a great time, two of my family members who are very critical about food and set up, had wow and raffinato effect about the whole thing we got to expirence. Tiramisu wasn't the best in my opinion, was good thou, but it didn't fit in league with the other stuff we got. The service we got was absolutely on point and it was delivered throughout the whole night by three camerieri. Made the experience even more valuable.

10/10This was the best Rome has to offer and if you care about creating a memorable experience, I would highly recommend fitting this restaurant into your schedule. You are greeted by a warm and professional service team. The view is priceless and will never be forgotten.. Helpful, friendly, attentive, professional service team. Excellent variety of food choices that were all prepared to perfection. My family was celebrating my wife’s birthday and everyone at the Roof Top made her feel special throughout the evening. Book in advance and enjoy the ultimate Rome experience.

10/10Dinner was very upscale with great views if you got there before nightfall. Food and service were great. Of course the views at breakfast were fantastic. We stayed at the Forum for 6 days. While the buffet was very good it didn't change much over the period, so it got a little boring. The staff at breakfast was very friendly and helpful.

10/10Exceptional service. Our waiter went above and beyond to make my partners birthday wonderful. The pianist played our favourite music. The food was excellent and super fresh. Definitely worth the price. Beautiful experience

10/10I was celebrating my 7 year anniversary with my boyfriend tonight. Honestly, this was the perfect place. It was incredibly romantic with beautiful scenery across the city. We made sure to book for 7:30pm so enjoyed the sunset in the rear window shining through - it was stunning. I was taken aback with the gorgeous Restaraunt right away. It had dainty little chairs and tables, an open roof to admire the sky, plants dotted along the window and smartly dressed waiters making it feel like a movie scene and we were the main characters. The food was immaculate and it was brought out so quickly. We had the Italian antipasti to share - it was light and tasty. I had the sausage & brocolli pasta & it did not disappoint. My boyfriend got a tenderloin stroganoff and it was delicious. We topped it off with cannoli & tiramisu and it was lovely. I seen a T-Bone steak coming out for another customer and it filled the Restaraunt with a tasty aroma so I’m sure that would be nice too! Although pricey, it definitely offered the highest quality service to go with it. A charming, romantic place - would highly recommend.

4.5/10Waited and waited for a waiter to take out food order. After watching them take orders from tables that sat down after us, I went to a waiter and asked for help. The same issue happened with the bill. The waiter directed us to leave a cash tip. He actually told us to leave a tip.

10/10My husband and I had the best time at this restaurant last night. The view was 1 in a million, the food was delicious, and service was great (thank you Gianluca!). Just this would have been enough to earn this restaurant 5 stars. The real highlight of the night though was the entertainment! They had a pianist playing live and please believe me when I say that he was the most talented and wonderful piano player I’ve seen in a long time. Me and the hubby were planning on walking around Rome at night and we ended up spending the entire evening sitting there and listening to him play (from 7:30p until 11p). If you’re on the fence about reserving a table at the roof garden, please, do yourself a service and go ahead and book a table! We truly had a magical night and made memories that we’ll cherish for a lifetime! Thank you RoofGarden for the most wonderful time!

6/10Food was overpriced for the quality. Fish was bland with a basil sauce that was tasteless. Pasta was too salty. Shrimp appetizer smelled fishy. View of forum was okay depending on where you are seated at the dining room. Service was excellent.

5/10This restaurant has a super view but we were really disappointed with the food. Tasted bland and failed to live up to expectations. Especially with the fairly expensive prices. Service was good, waiters were very attentive at all times. Overall, i'd score average and would only return for the views.

10/10From beginning to end - excellent service, food & ambiance. The Pasta Amatriciana (shared between the 3 of us) and Veal Saltimbocca were excellent. Others had a fish & beef dish that were equally delicious. The service was top notch. Reno and his staff were extremely attentive. He even explained what all the buildings/walls were (views of the Forum, Senate, etc.). The views are absolutely beautiful. We had a 7:30 reservation so it was dark, but the lit up surroundings are stunning. I’m sure in the summer at sunset, it must be spectacular. This is a special occasion place. It’s well worth the splurge!
