Incredible place, with an amazing mission. Highly recommended.

Roots is really a brave project. I went for an aperitif, dishes from mexico, pakistan, ghana and morocco delicious and interesting. Portions a bit small and not very balanced

Fantastic food, delicious wine (and special house pressed juice for the kids!) great service and a really positive project. Absolutely worth a visit.

A very nice restaurant, which is different from any of your Italian experience. The story behind is wonderful and so were the women working there. The food was different and exciting, will definitely be back next time I’m in Modena.

Fantastic dinner, beautiful room and friendly, enthusiastic staff that recommended a great firm white wine! Delicious food with a story behind each dish that was well explained by the waitress :-).

Lovely food ideal for a cultural experience without having to travel

The project and the founding values of this social enterprise would be enough to convince anyone of the absolute preciousness of this place. And yet, you will find masterfully cooked and explained dishes from around the world, an elegant and relaxing atmosphere, a friendly and professional service. All the senses are taken on a journey to exotic lands and ancient cultures.

There is so much to say about this restaurant I hardly know where to start. The concept of powering women immigrants and giving them an opportunity to showcase their culture through food, the real life impact of training these talented women in a commercial kitchen and then the food is honestly spectacular! As you can imagine, every one of them wants to showcase food that is meaningful to their culture. The diners learn the stories and meaning behind the food that they are so proudly presenting. This is a truly unique dining experience that I absolutely loved!

We really enjoyed our meal, the food was incredible and the story behind the restaurant made it all the more enjoyable! We would love to come again and try the next menu
