A very nice restaurant, which is different from any of your Italian experience. The story behind is wonderful and so were the women working there. The food was different and exciting, will definitely be back next time I’m in Modena.

The project and the founding values of this social enterprise would be enough to convince anyone of the absolute preciousness of this place. And yet, you will find masterfully cooked and explained dishes from around the world, an elegant and relaxing atmosphere, a friendly and professional service. All the senses are taken on a journey to exotic lands and ancient cultures.

There is so much to say about this restaurant I hardly know where to start. The concept of powering women immigrants and giving them an opportunity to showcase their culture through food, the real life impact of training these talented women in a commercial kitchen and then the food is honestly spectacular! As you can imagine, every one of them wants to showcase food that is meaningful to their culture. The diners learn the stories and meaning behind the food that they are so proudly presenting. This is a truly unique dining experience that I absolutely loved!

We visited the restaurant on Sunday, June 5th at 14:00. If possible, I would like to thank the young lady who served us; she was extremely personable, and provided us with some excellent dining tips for our stay in Bologna. We really enjoyed our experiences at La Osteria delle Sette Chiese, and Mercato di Mezzo. Thanks for your help!

Long time I haven't experience a different taste like that in Italy. Roots offer is a fine combination of different regions from Africa, a real travel around countries and cultures, a magic experience.
