Everything was perfect, from the food, the price, the location and the service. Really calm atmosphere, the waiter was so nice to us, the food was so tasty, that’s a super deserved 5 star review!

Food was very bland. My lamb madras tasted like it had been made from a supermarket sauce jar (I have made better myself) No heat at all. The papadoms were soft and bendy with chutneys that appeared to have been sitting out a long time. The onion bhaji seemed like it had been made in a factory and heated up in a microwave for serving atop wilted lettuce. I would not recommend.

Pleasant food with good flavours…Nan breads were excellent as was the daal.service was friendly and prompt. No issues at all.the 30%discount from booking via the fork was a bonus.

We went to the Royal Kashmir twice last year on our trip to Nice, I rated it 5 stars across the board. This year, I was hoping for the same, indeed we went 3 times on this trip, hoping for an improvement, but unfortunately the quality has gone downhill, and the service is very slow. Just disappointing.

The restaurant had no record of our booking for 8 people. They hurriedly prepared a table upstairs in a cramped space that was very humid and hot. Our starters arrived quickly enough, but we waited 1 hour and 35 minutes for our main course. When the dishes arrived, they were cold and had to be sent back. The warmed dishes (though not hot) were generally tasteless and lacked any flavour whatsoever. The quantity of chicken in the chicken dishes was very small. At this stage, we just wanted to finish our meal and get out. We were offered coffees on the house to make up for the poor service, but we declined. Instead, they took 10% off the bill. It was generally agreed by all that this was the worst mean we ever had, and we left the restaurant without adding a tip for service. Not to be repeated.

A nice little place off the main street. The staff, particularly the guy who seemed to be the owner, was very friendly. We ordered starters and main courses, which were brought to us in the quickest time I have ever known when eating in an Indian restaurant. The food was great. I had the best chicken vindaloo I have ever had. Also, the cheese naan is really nice. A great experience and I would definitely eat there again.

We ordered a couple of popadoms and chutneys to start, however one of the mains came out first. We mentioned this and the dish was removed and two awful popadom things appeared with one of the three chutneys missing. One main then appeared with plain rice (asked for pilau) then the “sizzling plate” of chicken tikka which wasn’t. The chicken koria was ok but was more like a chicken casserole, and the chicken tikka was actually quite nice. We asked for a jug of water which never appeared. Very disappointing as we’d checked trip advisor before booking, which was 4 1/4 stars. The owner could see we weren’t impressed but never said anything and just took the money.

Service was ok while not really very attentive. The team was more busy managing deliveries than serving us. Food was also OK. We are great lovers of indian food, had butter chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala and to be honest, had better ones elsewhere

Another lovely dinner with perfectly spiced food, impeccable service and lovely surroundings especially the roses ????! This is a wonderful restaurant which puts the customer at the heart of everything. Will visit (more than once) whenever I am in Nice.

The food was very good but despite booking through the fork we was not expected. We had made a request on the booking for a nice table etc as it was our anniversary. But they said they had not received the booking. Very disappointed.

Excellent hostess, very friendly and professional. Excellent food and a lovely quiet restaurant, will definitely use again when in Nice.

My husband were disappointed in the mixed grill. All the meats were dry. The sauces were tasty. I enjoyed the kulfi very much, but the other dishes were not exceptional. I have enjoyed far more tasty Indian/ Pakistani dishes.
