10/10I recently visited Rugbyman N°1 in Brussels with my girlfriend, and we had an incredible experience. The servers were exceptionally friendly and engaging, making us laugh and feel right at home. The lobster was exquisite, and the ambiance perfect. Highly recommend for a delightful and memorable dining experience

9/10Food was tasty :) Unfortunately our waitress doesn’t know English, it was a little bit a problem . Also we can’t use an app , they told us , that it’s not that place, but give us a table when we told that we have a reservation 😂

10/10I was very pleasantly surprised by the standard of this restaurant; given its central location it could have been a ‘tourist trap’, but it was really nice. Very friendly staff, professional and efficient. We had oysters, beef carpaccio & mussels. All was very good. The prices are reasonable for both food & wine. Reserve in advance if you want to sit inside! It’s not very big and it was full when we arrived @ 20h30.

9.5/10We all voted for the grilled dorade with grilled veggies in sauce vierge and think we won the lottery/ The firsh had arrived that morning and was the best grilled fish I think I have ever had. The Sancerre we had with it suited it perfectly. The service was perfectly times to allow us oldf friends who had not seen earch other in more than two years not to feel at all rushed. Perfect!

6/10Food was not food, not bad. Mediocre I would say. It’s a bit overpriced. The days that Rugbyman were the place to be for fish and seafood are long gone... but cheap menu’s.

5.5/10Deal available on the fork was listed as an “a la carte” option off the menu. However, when we arrived we were told we could only get the fork deal if we ordered a “starter + main” or “main + dessert option” or forgo the discount. As we were planning to share a main this was incredibly annoying. Beware! Starters were delicious. Settled on a pot of mussels as a main, and about a third of them were hardly opened and questionably edible. Very disappointing.

9.5/10A neat and typically Belgian restaurant with very good food, ample portions and good service. Decent value too. Prefer if less musak. Chattering conversation is better.

6/10Despite the luke warm reviews of The Rugbyman on The Fork, we decided to give it a chance because a 30% discount was offered for bookings through the app. The staff were very friendly and my girlfriend and I were pleased with our fish main dishes. Unfortunately when the bill came, our waiter refused to give us the discount. This seemed rather dishonest and we will not be returning to the restaurant.
