The restaurant is very atmospheric and true to Sardinian Cuisine. The staff are wonderful and speak very good English. The food was delicious! I definitely recommend the Octopus Salad, Fish soup and seafood pasta with clams. Grazie!

Good place to eat. Nice restaurant. Old décoration which drives you in sarda fishing . Dishes are well done, waitress is kindly, near to center as well. All was good. Ambiance, servicing timing , pricing very honest. Highly recommended if you are nearby.

4.5/10Nothing went well. Resturant was out of many wines and dishes on the menu. Long wait to get waited on and served. They were Lacking servers and the young girl erver and manager are rude. The food was tasteless. They only served the locals and did not pay any attention to out of town visitors.

Tucked in an alley off the main street, this restaurant is excellent to taste real Sardinia food. The service was excellent and helpful to choose what to eat and which wine to order.

7.5/10When I booked I stated it was for my husband's 70th birthday . I also mentioned it when we were seated. At no point did anyone congratulate him, in fact the service was not very welcoming. I wish I'd found a friendlier place for him. The food was excellent however.

10/10Our last night after two weeks and many great meals in Sardinia. Sa Piola was certainly as good as everywhere else we ate with a beautifully decorated dining room. Recommend highly.

WRONG TABLE NO DISCOUNT. Almost no right to promised discount because according to the unfriendly waitress we were not seated at her assigned 2 person table but at the table 30 cm next to it. How bizarre is that! Had the dish La cassola, a kind of fish stew consisting of 5 mussels, 3 vongoles, 2.5 crayfish, 2 baby scampi and pieces of squid soaked in tasty tomato pulp with 2 pieces of bread in it. Tasty but not really special. Dessert tiramisu had a particularly soft structure and was tasty. Coffee was made with a percolator. Other dishes that passed by for the other guests looked good. Ambiance was cozy.

6.5/10We were seated outside (after requesting this when booking)So cozy atmosphere! Service was also good. Had the carpaccio as a starter, so delicious. But when it came to the main course..My husband had the filetto di manzo. It came out still "bleeding", not so fresh for nice restaurang. (This filetto we didn't get 20% off-stood in italien, so we didn't know) I had the casserole with seafood. Good base. But when you have a mix if everything in a bowl you expect them to take away the bones in the fish. So big minus for the main course! Had a local redwine to share-also price worth and good. Overall I think Cagliari have better restaurants to visit

5/10The staff were not welcoming nor friendly, making the atmosphere uncomfortable. The service was slow and we were not attended to by the waitresses during our meal. Probably a good place for locales however it is not so good a place for tourists.

9.5/10Overall, a fantastic experience at Sa Piola. In terms of ambiance, why all the time digital menus? People go to restaurants to have conversations, enjoy their food, and 'escape'. Too look at your phone more, a legacy of COVID, seems unneeded.
