A warm, family-like atmosphere. Friendly, attentive service. I’ve never had octopus with such a creamy texture and delicious flavor anywhere else as I have here. I loved it. I’ll definitely be back. :-)

It is a cozy place with nice food. We came to celebrate the Christmas Eve, experienced a very nice service and we feel so relax just like at home

Great restaurant, food was delicious, really well done. Staff was super professional but really nice and engaging. Atmosphere was a bit quite but that was because it wasn’t as busy. And prices were very reasonable, great value for quality of the food.

We are a family of 4 arriving at 21:30 hungry and exhausted after a long walking day. We were the last customers of the day and were warmly welcomed. The food was fresh and delicious and was prepared and served quickly. We loved it !

Stumbled upon this place purely by chance and what a fortunate coincidence. The lady who served us spoke a variety of languages and the service equaled the food in terms of quality and richness. It was one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. Those less adventurous in terms of their palate; I encourage you to try the octopus stew. Don’t eat with your eyes and you won’t regret it. The pork cheek was another amazing dish. Thank you to the staff at Sacco

Super great and friendly service. Interior looks more local than fancy, but it’s exactly what we’ve expected. Octopus salat and cheese with honey and almonds paired with local red wine were memorable introductions to local cuisine

We had a wonderful time at Sacco! The staff, food, and atmosphere were all excellent. We went back multiple times during our time in Lisbon and it was always special.

Wonderful neighborhood gem with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Food was not fancy but still excellent. Some notable selections were the chicken gizzards and the pork cheeks, all at affordable prices!

Service, atmosphere and food was incredible! I had the Bacalou Ball and Octopus main course. Out of this world. Simple, yet powerful. Maria & Rui took the best care of me. They knew so many languages and accommodated everyone comfortably. Such a personable touch with Rui’s artwork all over the restaurant. Truly a gem of a restaurant and would recommend to anyone that it’s a must during their stay in Lisbon!

This restaurant made me feel like a local. It’s small but fun. The food was good.

Excellent dinner. The food is very good like in the pictures. Restaurant outside the classical turistic areas but it worth a little walk. We enjoyed the dinner watching the first match of Portugal. The staff is super nice. 😆

+2Could not have happened upon a better spot. Fresh delicious food. Friendly service, English speaking easier who wanted to educate us on all the delights. Light cod and onion pancakes, tender octopus in garlic and oil, meringues in a custard sauce. So inexpensive and entirely fun and delicious!

This is a small place with few tables. We were 9 another table of 3 and one of 7. (This is the full capacity). The menu covers real local dishes prepared with love. We shared some tapas as starters. The main dishes were excellent, and generous maybe a little poor on vegetables. The service was so kind and enthusiastic. The waiter explained all the dishes so perfectly. We had a great time

Great food. Service was super. Very small place but comfortable. Wife had the octopus and loved it. The starters: tempura vegetables and grilled chorizo were really good.
