9.5/10Wonderful neighborhood gem with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Food was not fancy but still excellent. Some notable selections were the chicken gizzards and the pork cheeks, all at affordable prices!

10/10Service, atmosphere and food was incredible! I had the Bacalou Ball and Octopus main course. Out of this world. Simple, yet powerful. Maria & Rui took the best care of me. They knew so many languages and accommodated everyone comfortably. Such a personable touch with Rui’s artwork all over the restaurant. Truly a gem of a restaurant and would recommend to anyone that it’s a must during their stay in Lisbon!

10/10Excellent dinner. The food is very good like in the pictures. Restaurant outside the classical turistic areas but it worth a little walk. We enjoyed the dinner watching the first match of Portugal. The staff is super nice. 😆

9.5/10+2Could not have happened upon a better spot. Fresh delicious food. Friendly service, English speaking easier who wanted to educate us on all the delights. Light cod and onion pancakes, tender octopus in garlic and oil, meringues in a custard sauce. So inexpensive and entirely fun and delicious!

10/10This is a small place with few tables. We were 9 another table of 3 and one of 7. (This is the full capacity). The menu covers real local dishes prepared with love. We shared some tapas as starters. The main dishes were excellent, and generous maybe a little poor on vegetables. The service was so kind and enthusiastic. The waiter explained all the dishes so perfectly. We had a great time

10/10I had already been here, the first time that I visited Lisbon on my own. This time I was with my parents and I wanted them to try the real portuguese cousine. Sacco Restaurante is such a good compromise, high-quality food, a nice atmosphere and very kind waiter. The food is so good, especially bacalhau and polpo, of course!

10/10What a lovely tapas restaurant. It’s small, so make a reservation. Definitely have the cod au gratin. The vino tinto de casa is wonderful. Also, don’t skip the cod fritters or the spicy chrizo. Walk back to your hotel afterwards to enjoy the city!

10/10What a great find. This is a a tiny little restaurant that prides itself in its food quality and service. We ordered the pork cheek and octopus. The octopus was a little better than an unbelievably good pork cheek. So, both were nuts they were so good. Dessert was fire, too. Really figure you can’t go wrong here - SACCO just cares too much to pump out anything that isn’t delicious.

10/10Our visit in this cute little restaurant was one of our greatest experience in Lisbon. The waiter (Rui) was one of the kindest and friendliest person we have ever met. He was super helpful, talkative and made the whole dinner night just better. The food was delicious and the prices weren't too high. The enteriour of the restaurant was really nice and had a good vibe, such as the music, which was really pleasant as well. To sum it up we had a great time here, big thank you Rui! 💯✅🙂

10/10Had a fantastic meal at Sacco on a Friday evening for my wife’s birthday. It’s relaxed and informal with excellent food - flavours to die for! I had the octopus and it was meaty, with lots of flavour. The staff were super friendly and helpful explaining the menu. A real gem!

10/10We read reviews of this restaurant and decided to give it a try on our last night in Portugal. So glad we did! Everything we had was amazing, from the cod fritters to the pork cheeks. The red wine of the week was perfect with a wide array of dishes. Would highly recommend, and make reservations if you decide to go.

10/10Sacco is one of our favorite restaurants in Lisboa to visit on a regular basis. The food is updated traditional Portuguese fare that is quite delicious. The service is impeccable and friendly. There are always new wines to try as the owner keeps a variety of wines rotating. We can not recommend highly enough.

10/10We booked, as we felt it would be ideal for us. It was. Nice quiet setting off the main road. The starters and mains were of excellent quality and very vibrant. Aesthetically pleasing. One of the mains didn’t agree with me and it was taken off the bill. I insisted that it was my taste and not the cooking that was at fault, so I covered the cost and gave a tip. Definitely try this place again while in Lisbon.
