This is a beautiful Japanese restaurant. Go there for sushi sashimi and teppanyakis. Drink umeshuband other traditional drinks.

We liked the restaurant, nice modern design in Japanese style. The service is European, however. I liked the food quite well. Promotion from Fork was not included in the bill.

had an amazing birthday in tatami room and the manager was absolutely excellent for his kindness and hospitality! 100/100, my friends loved it and they say one of the best!!

We had a delicious evening menu at 59fr which included a wide choice of 2 x starters, 1 x main course and 1 x dessert. I was expecting small portions which is sometimes the case with pre-set menus compared to à la carte, but in fact the dishes were v plentiful and all fresh and delicious. Friendly service too. A wonderful evening!

Very good Japanese food. We ate mostly sushi and the quality was excellent. The restaurant is very authentic. It has normal tables but also several tatami rooms on the lower level and a teppanyaki table/bar. The service was very good too.

Old, dated and tired on all fronts, Sagano is a clear pass. While the staff is friendly and willing, dishes take too long to arrive, the fish is average (and provenance “directly from Japan” very doubtful), the rest of the cuisine is passable at best and the teppanyaki has lost its sheen (though the teppan chef is the most talented in the house).
