Excellent food, service and atmosphere. They gave us a menu printed in English without us asking, which was helpful. Cool atmosphere!

My wife is pregnant, so I asked if they could alter the new years eve menu. This was no problem at all and when upon entering the restraunt they knew exactly who we where. Everyone was aware of my wife's condition, so I was glad we could relax and enjoy the delicious food. A great way to end the year and start a new one.

This restaurant is really nice, mainly a steakhouses restaurant. The sit-down restaurant is on the second floor, as the first floor is mainly a bar with high chairs and tables. The steaks are really good and well prepared. We had steak and white tuna. The steak was so much better. The white tuna was too well done even though we asked them to cook it just rare. Anyway, it's a very good restaurant and highly recommended.

Expensive for what you get and everything has to go fast. Would not recommend

We were on a Friday night, it was busy but we had a perfect round table for the five of us right by the window which we reserved one day before. Appetizers were very good, perfect cooked whole fish. The meat, a Bistecca 1000g was well presented but unfortunately the meat not stored long enough, it was quite chewy. Overall still a memorable evening, would go again.

The food was good to average, and welcoming service although it was a bit slow in taking orders. Nice upper floor with a view of the street. Safe choice not uber local

I feel the staff were rude. When asked about the 6 course tasting menu, I got told it’s 6 courses. I specifically asked about the cheese course, no description, it’s cheese. This was not a language barrier, staff spoke very good English. No staff came and asked through the meal if everything was ok. No staff smiled. The food was served with no correspondence or explanation. We ordered one glass of wine and 2 full bottles were left on the table which was off putting. When stated we only want one glass, they stated this is procedure! The staff all looked very sad, like they did not want to be there and we were an inconvenience.

I like all Sagardi’s restaurants though they start to look a bit like chain stores :) You just know the food will be okay and the service good, but you can’t expect surprises. So it was as expected - the service fine, food great as always, the place is beautiful with amazing view. It would be nice to have a personal touch like one waiter serving you and asking if you like it and if everything is all right. I loved both Tagomago and Sagardi Centro and I will be back.

Great vibe and service. Unsure the portion sizes and the staff could have helped out as we ended up with too much. The meat was too salty. Great wine and basque cider !

Great restaurant, excellent food, good service. Very good staff, always in control of the service for each diner. From where I was sitting I could see the chef on the grill, giving great attention to everything he cooked, seasoning all the time. Well worth a visit , thoroughly recommend.

Very stylish restaurant where we went for the Basque tasting menu. Most expensive meal that we had in Valencia but that was the beef that did that. Basque sausages, cod omelette, cod in all its glory, 1.2kg beef (for 2) and cheese with wine around €190, so still better than London

Food quality has big room for improvement. I didn't understand why we had to wait for reserved table around 7 minutes downstairs after they checked covid passports (reservation was made for 20:00, we arrived at 20:05) when the restaurant was almost empty. They didn't let us go upstairs, at the same time there were 10 percent of seats occupied.

This was our best meal in Barcelona and Valencia. Pork ribs and clams were delicious as were the truffles for dessert. Service was excellent and the restaurant upstairs was very tasteful and overlooked a beautiful lit up church. The beef looked incredible even though we didn’t order it. Not the cheapest restaurant we have been to but worth every penny. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Wow! fantastica cena nel centro di Valencia. Ristorante molto raccomandato! We had the best dinner of the holidays so far. You can really taste the high quality of their products. A very nice experience since, more than food, even the location and the waiters were above expectations. Easy 10/10 (probably even 11/10)

We have visited the pinchos bar downstairs several times and it is excellent but this was our first venture upstairs to the ‘proper’ restaurant. We felt very welcome when we arrived, the staff was attentive but not hovering. The restaurant is on the more expensive side but the food was all prepared, cooked and presented to a very high standard. We were given a plate of small chorizo sausages as a treat while we chose our meals. There are salads, fish and other proteins on the menu but we were there for the beef. Don’t miss the rich flavoured sourdough bread accompanied with olive oil or butter (If requested). The first pleasant surprise was that our dinner plates were warm, common throughout the world but rare here in Spain. My husband had the morcilla and smoked red pepper appetiser which he pronounced ‘outstanding’. The main course was the restaurant’s speciality, aged beef. It comes as a sharing plate. It was perfectly cooked medium rare with a flame grilled outer crust that added a beautiful barbecue flavour and a slight crunch with the ideal amount of seasoning. We accompanied this with the traditional chips, ( it’s an upmarket restaurant, but not stuffy ) also crispy and carefully cooked and seasoned. The final course cheese board was entirely sheep cheese but had been selected to highlight variety and flavour as it began with a young manchego and ended with a 3 year old cheese we had never tasted before. This last course was complimented with a glass of deep ruby port and the whole meal rounded off with coffee. Our waiter Juan could not have been better and he made our whole evening absolutely lovely. Many thanks to Sagardi.
