The restaurant is located behind a bar which you enter down five/six steps. The restaurant is full of dark timber (walls, tables, chairs etc) and old style terracota tiles. Now, I don't know if this is Basque Style or not but it was very dark and dreary. I didn't like it!! I was given bread which obviously had been cut hours earlier (most likely left over from lunch) and was hard. There were three cod dishes on the menu and I selected one of these. However, moments later I was told that cod was not available! No reason was given. I opted to have a sea bass instead. Not a great experience and I won't be returning.

Amazing dinner and drinks with family and friends. We ordered steaks, grill octopus and tuna. Great drinks and wine menu as well. One of the best Madrid restaurants.
