Oh God thank you for have sent me to this unique restaurant ! The owner and the chef were so friendly, they gave us their phone to put music in all the restaurant! They made us SO COMFORTABLE. And the food? there is what every people want!! Traditional DUTCH specialities nd ITALIAN . fantastic in a quality musical atmosphere. As soon as we come back to Amsterdam, we have our restaurant that we share to you ;)

Friendly boss. Good food at a reasonable price. It can get a little loud when the boss starts playing the music on loud speaker as it's a relatively small cafe restaurant.

Food was good, we all enjoyed it. We got a French onion soup, a goulash, the veal meatball on mash and the rack of ribs. It felt like traditional pub quality food for Amsterdam. We also got the mini Dutch pancakes between 3 of us. This was a great last minute add. Our waiter, (didnt get his name unfortunately) was a legend. Super patient. Double checked the kitchen for a nut allergy. Saw him serve everyone table with so much passion and patience, we all commented on it. Especially the couple sat behind us, they were giving him a HARD time and being objectively very difficult (should have gone to a 6 star fine dining restaurant with the requests they were making) and he was patient and just kept smiling and constantly went out of his way. He deserves more than whatever he’s getting paid.

The food was incredible! The chef and manager were both very kind & everything we ordered was very tasty. The lasagna was the best lasagna I’ve ever had! And we had great Poffertjes at the end of the meal as well. I highly reccomend St Paul’s lounge and cafe for dinner, and a great ambiance and experience.

the host was extremely friendly and hospitable. confirmed the appointment and made sure all our needs were met. the french onion soup was amazing, the steak tasted good but lacked some seasoning. french fries weren't on par with the french fries vendors, not really a big issue but it felt like a downgrade after the ones we had in the street. summary is it what a nice experience for a nice restaurant in a good spot with friendly staff and good food.
