The restaurant is beautiful in pistachio green. The staff is super professional and the sommelier stands out. We didn’t get his name but he is lovely (Sicilian/Moroccan). The food was absolutely delicious. Grazie a tutti.

Sal8 delivered one of the best meals of our entire trip. The cacao tagliatelle was, without exaggeration, the most delicious pasta I’ve ever eaten—perfectly balanced, earthy yet subtly sweet, and completely unforgettable. Truly next-level. We also had the sea bass with mashed potatoes, and both were bursting with flavor—fresh, delicate fish paired with incredibly rich and comforting potatoes done just right. The meal started with excellent Sicilian bread and olive oil, followed by thoughtfully paired wines that complemented each dish beautifully. We finished with a delectable tiramisu, the perfect ending to an already flawless meal. Beyond the food, the service was warm, friendly, and welcoming, making the entire experience feel special from start to finish. Sal8 is an absolute must-do in Agrigento—creative, soulful cooking done exceptionally well. 🍷🍝✨

The food was excellent and the waitstaff was knowledgeable and very friendly. We were seated at a round table upstairs in a corner area, so it was quiet and felt almost private! I would absolutely go there again!!!

We loved our visit to Sal8. The ambience was elegant but relaxed, and the service was impeccable and attentive without being fussy. Nearly every dish on the menu was tempting, and our choices were flavorful and attractively plated. Complimentary prosecco was offered before our orders were taken, and complimentary sweet wine after the meal. The price tag for 3 courses each and a nice Cataratto wine was €57 per person, and well worth it. It was one of our most enjoyable meals during 2.5 weeks in Sicily, and we'd definitely return if in the area.

Service was attentive and exemplary even though they were very busy the night we ate there. Food was well prepared and delicious. Really enjoyed our caprese appetizer, with fresh ingredients. Would definitely return again.

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at Sal8! Fantastic food, great staff, and a lovely ambience in the heart of old town Agrigento—no wonder it’s so popular.

Service was exceptional. Food was wonderful. I had a tagliatelle with pig OK do you think this is our Ragu, which I would recommend. be sure to make reservations as they are very busy.

I was expecting something much better! It is not what they say they are. Food was not good, small portions and poor taste. Environment was okay.

+3The service was attentive although it took a long time to get the bill lol. Anyway the food was great and the flavors exquisite. Nice touch to serve sparkling wine when seated and also loved the roasted octopus and sea bass. Long line of people waiting when I left.

We came to this restaurant based on a recommendation from our host and it was absolutely worth it! The initial welcome by a lady was a bit unfriendly, but shortly after, the (presumably head) service manager took over, and from that moment on, the service was fantastic, very pleasant, attentive, and professional. The real highlight for us was the pasta especially the ravioli filled with ricotta and pistachios. Without a doubt, the best pasta we had during our entire stay in Sicily. They were so delicious, we kept talking about them for days afterward! We would definitely recommend this restaurant the food alone makes it a must-visit.

Didn’t expect it to be this delicious! Everything we ordered was amazing! The restaurant also served complimentary aperitifs and breadsticks. Service was excellent, everyone was so friendly and they speak English too. The pasta and tiramisu were both incredibly tasty! Prices are very reasonable, and the atmosphere is just perfect! Highly recommended!

All of the staff was so kind and welcoming. Complimentary Prosecco served once we were seated. The food was excellent. Had a caprese salad, linguine with shrimp, black ravioli with squid, tuna trio and tiramisu. Complimentary lemon pistachio granite and lemonchello to finish the meal. We were seated outside on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was very busy but our meal was relaxing and perfect! Thank you Sal8! .

All of the dishes we had were delicious. We had two antipasti, two primi and shared a secundi and have nothing but glowing reviews of everything. We paired our meal with a bottle of white wine and it made for a memorable night. One thing to ensure before you get here is to find parking. We were in town during a festival and it was quite an adventure trying to find a place to park. Nothing against the restaurant, but definitely something to consider when going out in Agrigento at night.

The appetizers was perfect, main dishes 2 very good 2 okay! Needs improvements on the typical black pick ragu.

The location was charming. The staff was attentive and helpful. Food was excellent. We had pasta with almonds & pistachios and tuna with paccheri pasta. Lovely evening. Great food, great staff & great price!
