5/10Nice food but some of it arrived lukewarm and almost cold. Service is ridiculously slow. We had to ask if our food was coming. Sangria tastes great though!

+1A Taste of Colombia at Salento Latino in Amsterdam Last night, a friend and I enjoyed a fantastic evening at Salento Latino in Buitenveldert. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome and relaxed, friendly service. The atmosphere was lively and inviting — definitely a good thing we reserved ahead, as the restaurant was bustling. The menu features authentic Colombian dishes, and every bite was a treat. I loved the Tequeños and the chicken-filled empanada — crispy, flavorful, and paired beautifully with fresh chimichurri. My grilled chicken main course was cooked to perfection, and the Tres Leches cake for dessert was moist, rich, and utterly delicious. Portions are generous, prices are very reasonable, and parking is easy on the street. All in all, a wonderful night of great food, friendly faces, and vibrant ambiance. I will definitely have dinner there again . Highly recommended!

6.5/10This place was Tropico (I visited it twice before), but I tried anyway. I asked for Bandeja Paisa, my favorite, and I found it different, less amount of food and hugely expensive (24EUR). You order and pay via a QR code, which is fine, but makes this very impersonal. The rest is ok. I recommend to try.

3/10The arepas were okay however very salty. the ribs were inedible, extremely dry with just some BBQ sauce thrown in the top. tried to eat it when asking for extra sauce which didnt help and was then charged for the extra sauce. the fries were tasteless and the salade was old and lacked any dressing or flavour at all. my partner had the premium ribeye which had tons of fat in it and was barely cooked in parts. the discount was not applied to all dishes.

5.5/10The food was very disappointing for us. Dishes with plantain were very bland, we couldn’t taste any seasoning. Side salad was very minimal and the leaves were wilted. The paisa rise was too salty for our taste. On the Fork it says we have 50% discount excerpt presets and drinks. But in reality, the 50% discount only applies to main dishes.

5/10The loudest place imaginable! We had a birthday dinner for five. We walked in and no one said anything, so we politely had to track down a server to seat us. The music was so loud - I mean rave level - that we were unable to talk. It was absolutely chaotic. That would have been fine but the service - what a nightmare. We ordered the fish after some confusion - they use QR codes - and then when it never arrived, the server said we never ordered it, so we ordered it again. Four of us were done eating by the time the fish arrived (we shared our meals with the person who had none). By the time we were leaving, the music inexplicably went to a reasonable level. We wanted to love this place but alas, we're still hearing that astonishingly loud music (really, for no apparent reason) in our heads.

They’re the best in NL, real Colombian cuisine that I never really enjoyed here, and the staff is super friendly, this Colombian guy and Venezuelan girl are so charming and helpful. I’ll go back as much as I can. Very Tasteful and cozy experience.
