We always visit Salmora when visiting Vilamoura. Tapas food freshly cooked (delicious), lovely staff. Cannot fault it. A definite place to try!

Happy, healthy and safe New Year to all. First off, the restaurant is very nicely appointed with an upscale cool yet cozy vibe. Our server was very earnestly cheerful and very helpful; which to us, was lovely. The stemware our gin and tonic with orange was served in, was absolutely stunning. The slice of orange- different from how it’s served in Canada-was a nice addition. We had a bottle of Costa Boal- a full bodied, full flavoured red wine similar to a Barolo. It as very good. Our server suggested ordering from the menu “Tapas-style” sharing anything on the menu. When we ordered the pork; she recommended the mushroom risotto. The complimentary flavours were perfect. We had the Asian chicken and Burrata both bursting with flavour. And to finish our meal, the chef highly recommended the apple dessert. While it was sweet, it was not overpowering and very flavourful. Overall, this was one of the most delicious meals I’ve had in a long time.

I always love going to Salmora, the people and place are very nice. The menu changes regularly with always nice new dishes to try.

Everything was amazing-until the server neglected to tell us the food would be staggered as it was a tapas concept..but all the food arrived at the same time except my Sons meal. His didn’t arrive until we asked for it multiple times. Even then, only one of two. When the second finally arrived, everyone around us had come and gone. Almost 2 hours after our arrival and 45 minutes after we ordered it. The apologies were made with the excuse that they were busy..but again guests at other tables had come and gone..poor customer service..poorly managed disappointment..we left bewildered..

Everything was exceptional, as always. This place is a true canon of elegance — both in its dishes and in its service.

Good food & drink (as always), friendly service & nice ambiance. Fish evening (tuna & John Dory), with a nice glass is SB.

A stunning restaurant with the finest of foods. The owner, as always, was on hand being attentive and providing his intricate knowledge of the food and wines he has to offer. He organised all the food for our group of 8 knowing that some would not eat fish or seafood. Every selection of food delivered to the table was exceptional and cooked to perfection. We finished off with his own family recipe apple pie and in house made ice cream. This restaurant is one we go to every time we’re in Vilamoura and always will be

Another excellent evening. End of season, thought it would be quiet, absolutely wrong, extremely busy with big groups of golfers, but staff managed brilliantly. Food, service, ambiance excellent. A favourite when I visit Vilamoura.

Excellent food and service. We discovered this place on our penultimate night / but went back for our last night too and had several different dishes. Black pork is a must. Will definitely visit again when we are back.

Another pleasant evening. Fish this evening (prawns, John Dory, & tuna) with a couple of glasses of SB. All good, staff attentive, great location & excellent food.

The food was fantastic. We had prawn ceviche , mushroom risotto , beef taco, selection of bread , prawn gyozas and the barbecue chicken between three of us . So tasty and well presented and perfect quantity for sharing . Our waitress was such a delight . Helpful and so pleasant., First time for my younger daughter to try tapas and she’s hooked ! Thank you

Had a fantastic meal, excellent mocktail, loved the aubergine, beef tacos and the apple pie and chocolate/salted caramel mouse was amazing. Kids loved the John Dory. Staff were wonderful, made great recommendations and great with the kids who played in the courtyard-couldn’t recommend enough!

Amazing food and service

Food was exquisite. We ordered a variety from the tapas menu, all excellent, including the delicious apple pie to finish off. We found this gem of a restaurant on our last night otherwise would have made a return visit (or two). Best food we’ve had all week.

A regular venue. Enjoy the tapas style, ambience and friendly staff. Ate the prawn gyosas, tuna preguihno & BBQ chicken (all excellent). To finish I sampled the home made ice creams (Greek yoghurt, chocolate & rum/raisin (mix of Turkish & European styles. Busy, so staff rushed, but still very attentive.

Food & drink good as per usual. Menu changed a bit (some favourites no longer there) & a few staff gone. A little subdued for me.
