A few days before Valentine’s Day, my daughter casually announces she’s invited friends over… which means my wife and I are officially “going out”! With all my usual spots fully booked for 14th February, things were looking bleak. Then I stumbled across Salsa Café on TheFork — and what a find it turned out to be! We had the set menu and every course was a winner — beautifully presented, packed with flavour, and clearly made with care. The staff were warm and attentive, striking that perfect balance between friendly and professional, and the service was flawless from start to finish. The atmosphere? Spot on. Cosy, softly lit, rose petals on the tables — romantic without being over the top. The place was busy, yet intimate enough to feel like our own little corner of the world. To borrow a line from Arnold Schwarzenegger… “I’ll be back!”

We were initially put-off by the bouncer at the entrance. Ugh! Is this a night club/bar that serves food to go with the drinks?? Well, it may be, but we were utterly surprised and pleased in the end. The dining atmosphere was modern and fresh. The food was fantastic. The wine was great and the service was excellent. We would definitely come back!

What a hidden gem! Great staff and service - we sat in the little courtyard at the back. Recommend the sangria. Tapas was amazing. Would highly recommend

Excellent service. Food was very good. Small outside deck was pleasant. Music level would have been a bit high for early evening had we been inside.
