9/10Well worth visiting. Though the space itself is merely pleasant (nothing special to look at), the food is the star. We had very good dishes of pasta, seafood, and a terrific tiramisù. Quite reasonable prices. We dined four or five times in Bari and this was by far our best experience.

7/10Overall a good experience but... The waiter "sold" us a fish of the day for two persons without telling us that it was 91 euro. We could of course have asked for the price, but did not expect to have a surprise like this. The waiter should have told us.

The food was simply amazing! For us it was a new taste experience & seafood was extra fresh! Also wine cart is really good. Definitely a recommendation when visiting Bari!

5/10Overpriced: Wine bottles start at €28—even local labels like Leone de Castris, which typically go for around €15 in most other restaurants. The markup feels unjustified. Food: We had the orecchiette al sugo—flavour was decent, but the portion was tiny. For €15, you’d expect more than just an assaggino. The tiramisu was watery and lacked texture. Ambience: There’s no sense of privacy. Tables are small (IKEA Lack-sized) and crammed together, making conversation awkward. Most setups have one diner facing a wall, which doesn’t help the experience. In hindsight, seeing that the reviews were mostly from tourists, it’s clear this place is a bit of a tourist trap.

10/10It was a fine lunch experience for my wife and me. Half of the guests were locals enjoying the nice local cuisine. The polpo was soft and tasted great so were the semi-coocked prawns. The rose Negroamaro that was advised matched the fish and the tagliata steak. Great quality of the meat and a very fare price. Great value for the money.

We went for a lunch today in Samuele Pastanella .The restaurant is truly a standout restaurant in Bari! The seafood is simply outstanding – incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. Every dish feels like a celebration of the sea. The pasta dishes, especially the seafood risotto, were absolutely divine. What made the experience even more special was the exceptional service. The waiter was extremely polite, attentive, and professional, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. He took the time to explain the menu, offer recommendations, and make sure we were comfortable throughout the meal. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place for a relaxed yet refined dining experience. I highly recommend Samuele Pastanella to anyone visiting Bari – it’s a culinary experience not to be missed!

9/10Very good food, service efficient and responsive. Atmosphere quite fine, but not remarkable. On the server’s recommendation enjoyed a nice Pinot Nero that drank nicely with the seafood platter, octopus and the rare entrecôte, very good. I would be happy to dine here again.

8/10While the food was of the highest quality it was hugely disappointing to discover at the end of it that the 30% discount - shown at the initial stage and the basis on which we made the booking - did not apply. Never before using The Fork have I had to check the confirmation to see that what was advertised was not the case. Hugely disappointing as I say.

10/10Dinner was delicious and Raphael, our server was excellent. It was a great way to celebrate our 53rd wedding anniversary. We parked in the public parking by the castle which is about a 6 minutes easy walk from the restaurant.

+2A very nice ambience, a relatively short menu, which makes sense given the quality and freshness of the dishes. It was creative, the service outstanding. Definitely a must go a price/value was outstanding compared to other restaurants we visited in Bari.
