The food was delicious, one of the best meals I’ve had in all of Italy. The view is amazing. The staff are friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

I was slightly apprehensive about having lunch here as I thought it might just be a tourist trap. However they proved me wrong. The antipasti (particularly the vitello tonato) were delicious as was my tajarin pasta. Wine list was good with good choices by the glass. Staff were attentive and service was brisk. Definitely would return.

Food was really good, prices were very reasonable. Prompt service. Most staff pleasant. I would go again, for food and view. It’s a shame that the flowers on the restaurant/lake were very poor/ lacked care. Visually didn’t look good.

We were seated next to the lake. It was set in a very nice ambience. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We ordered the Iberain pork cheek, fish ravioli and fish and chips and all were delicious, don’t miss the pork cheek. Strongly recommended to eat here when you visit the San Giulio Island.

the location is unbeatable, we were right by the water at sunset (which is not itself unfortunately visible) and the fact that you are taken by motorboat to and from the restaurant adds to the experience. The menu options for people with intolerances (my wife is intolerant of gluten and dairy) are -as is quite common in Italy - significantly limited, but each course of the lake tasting menu was excellent. the dessert (sorbet) might have perhaps been more imaginative, but for a grand total of 116€ including tip, for 2 people the experience was also good value for money.

The food was excelent, the service was outstanding and the surroundings is unique. Just a short boattrip from the mainland you will find this gem of a restaurant.

This restaurant offers a truly special dining experience. Beautifully prepared food in a uniquely beautiful location with excellent service. Definitely a meal to remember.

Food very underwhelming. Friendly service. Only reason to go is for the view but not the food.

The food and setting are absolutely exceptional. The value for money on the 4 course menu is incredible. 45 euros and you choose from meat or fish. The produce is so fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. The service is second to none. The friendly staff provide a free boat transfer from the lake shore to the beautiful island and suggest local wines and cocktails to perfectly compliment the delicious food. If you're visiting Lake Orta you have to book this wonderful experience.

The service is very good! We had a reservation for 20:30 and they called earlier to let us know the last boat was at 20h. we had the menu lago and it was a feast. Good prices on the wine as well. After dinner we did a small stroll on the island (10min to see it all) before taking the last boat at 22:30 to return to main land. Great overall experience!

Good setting, good food, rushed service. This was not our best meal in Orta. Would have thought with the reviews it would have been better. Rabbit ragu was better then the fish ravioli.
